God damn Texas is winning 30-10 already. God, I hope Texas can keep up their lead this time and not blow it again like they did last time.
And now Kansas is on an 14-5 run. Ughhh this is starting to look like the last Texas/Kansas game all over again.
Wow that was a nerveracking last 2 minutes. Game is going to overtime though. Should be a great last 5 minutes.
Durant is playing great. Making some tough shots down the stretch. Been a good game so far...hopefully Texas can pull it off.
Did anyone else notice though how much the announcers were overrating Durant's defense? They acted like blocking shots and getting steals is all that matters.

He made a nice little spin move to dunk and they showed it at least 5 times. They would say hanus things like "Just to catch that bounce pass is an amazing thing to do then to spin and dunk it. WOW! I could watch that play over and over."It seemed like they were scouting him the whole game, just saying like how Ainge and someone else(can't remember who) were in attendance like 5 times also. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve recognition, but come on it gets annoying after they talk about him 2438432 times.
Durant's defense isn't great, it's something he'll have to learn to do better...but getting steals and blocks IS important.Nobody is overrating his game...he just makes things look easy. The kid gets close to 30 ppg over his last 10 games or so...the guy is going to be good.

To me it seems like he doesn't even play defense 80% of the game, but he does make some decent plays every once in a while.
They do overrated his defense a lotthey act like the people who lead the country in steals and blocks are gonna be the best defenders in NBA historyDurant is solid on D..he has potential to be a good defender but he seems like he gets lost on defense sometimes and isn't aggressive enough..he is lacking a killer instinct
This was a hell of a game, I only watched about 2-3 minutes total of the Ohio State game lol. I couldn't take my eyes off this one. Durant was unbelievable, but he didn't get it done consistently in the 2nd half. Augustin played very sloppy in the last 10 minutes of the game, something that doesn't usually happen. Part of that reason was because Texas players were standing still. Augustin was dribbling around, trying to find somebody, but nobody moved. That resulted in a couple turnovers. But this was a great game, Collins really brought a TON of much-needed energy for KU late in the game. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (playaofthegame @ Mar 11 2007, 09:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>They do overrated his defense a lot they act like the people who lead the country in steals and blocks are gonna be the best defenders in NBA history Durant is solid on D..he has potential to be a good defender but he seems like he gets lost on defense sometimes and isn't aggressive enough..he is lacking a killer instinct</div> Kevin Durant is lacking a killer instinct? Are you joking?
Yeah I starting watching this with 13 left in the 2nd half...crazy game.Durant isnt a lockdown defender, but he gets alotve blocks and steals that makes players think twice,

I think he definitely wants to, but Augustin tends to take it upon himself to control the game down the stretch instead of deferring to Durant. There have been numerous times where Durant is basically yelling for the ball, but doesn't get it.
