IIRC It was some weak ass call on a bump along the baseline on defense. Didn't even notice Caleb said anything, but he must have said something because next thing he's heading to the bench and the guy is shooting a tech.

I actually think Olshey was smart getting Swanigan and Collins. They duplicate each other, and at the time I thought it would've been better to get a wing after getting a big, but Olshey almost certainly knew that Collins would have to be brought along slowly, and getting Swanigan (who might have a lower ceiling - although he might not) would help shield Collins from ridiculous expectations.

But Layman is hurting our overall scoring if he's taking that many bad shots.

Swanigan > Bell and it's not close.

Biggie is far more rounded, still Bell for where he was drafted is gonna be great value.

My Dad's a long time Blazer fan and lived through the early years.

When I mentioned the fact that we actually had a really good draft, he said....

"Its about time! You weren't here when they drafted Larue Martin! Let me tell you...."

And on.... and on.... and on. :dunno: Well at least the Wimbledon match diverted his train of thought.

Layman won us the game by continuing to shoot. Not many of his shots were bad - a lot of them were just not falling. If you listened to the interview - you heard what the coaches told him at half time - keep shooting it, keep being aggressive. He did, and they started to fall in.

I think Layman's shooting percentage is directly tied in to his confidence. The more time he spends on the floor the better I think he will get.

This is the problem with summer league. By the time you're starting to feel a groove, the league is over. This is why I wish we did more than one league.

I really enjoyed rooting for the team, yelling at the TV after all the STUPID mistakes, and of course getting the win. It was a nice diversion in the middle of my day, which has otherwise been spent entirely doing yard work.

Now let's get the next one!

    (This is fun)

Is Jake our answer at the SF position? I don't think he is a worst defender than Ryan Anderson and he definitely shoots better than Mo Harkless.
I know that Caleb is definitely the answer at the PF position. There is no doubt in my mind that Caled will be our starting PF by mid year at the latest.

I was told it didn't matter. I was just passing that on.

Yeah, we know. You've "passed it on" a few dozen time in multiple threads. It's your new mantra. Too bad you're being disingenuous and transparent.
