Was just just going to say, one of the biggest needs on this team is a backup center. This team is probably not even a .500 team without Nurkic, would be nice to have someone that could step in and stop the bleeding.

Btw CJ has been training with Melos trainer in New York this summer. FWIW.

while it is far more impressive than anything I could do, did anyone else just get a stiff tall guy vibe?

    It's like watching Shawn Bradley

Sounds like this guy would strongly disagree if you read though his tweets.

And Melo wouldn't say yes if Dame was traded. Or would the Knicks prefer Ryan Anderson?

I would rather see him do an up and under from the post. Something useful in a game.

Lol at Knick fans. Their best offer to date has been Ryan Anderson and now they think they are getting Damian Lillard. They actually think the Knicks are the ones blocking this from happening when it's clear they want Harkless. It's all about the no trade clause.

well even if thats true, I dont know why would any POR fan bring Carmelo on Nurk damage

would Carmelo be more important to this team than Nurk... he certainly wouldnt and he certainly isnt the future, and Nurk is, cause hes soon to be 23 yo two way C with All-Star potential

as I said, its tempting to have Carmelo Anthony on POR, but thats not the answer, but if it was PG13, Id be willing to seriously consider it, but Carmelo... Ill say, HELL NO!

Knick fans are imfamous for their ridiculous trade ideas. It's like they think the world revolves around them because they're New York.

I kinda don't agree with this. Melo comes here and it's CJ that would have to sacrifice. I think the offense would run through Dame/Nurk pick and rolls and Melo post ups.

We should trade Crabbe to Brooklyn for a cap dump. They missed out on Otto Porter, and could just absorb crabbe's contract. Don't see why they wouldn't still be interested. It's not like Allen hurt his stock from last year, he shot well.

That would put us just under the luxury tax.

I think some people here are a bit too analytical about the prospect of Melo joining the Blazers.
He doesn't make the Blazers a contender, that's true, But wouldn't be fun to watch this experiment? we are not setting the league on fire right now anyway.

CJ and Dame will remember that Neil got them a star to help them, we get another asset wanted by young teams and powerful players like Lebron James and Chris Paul.

Let's roll with it if it happens.

I want Nurk to be an all star, but so far he's had 20 games under his belt as a Blazer. He hasn't earned the right to be concerned about his role and what potentially adding a superstar would do to it.

Because the team values crabbe more than the fans do, which is ironic considering the main problem fans have with him is his contract.

Don't worry about Nurk, he was all about George coming. Don't see how it would be different with Melo.

Enough of these "I saw so-and-so at PDX" comments. It's obvious you're lying and it's not a funny joke either.

    You're in a slump!
