A 13 seed, led UCONN by 12 last year as the number 16th seed with 10 minutes to go, but completely ran out of gas. Will be tough against the UVA backcourt...but we are up to it.

Re: This year's cinderella... ORAL ROBERTSthey almost beat Memphis last year......They are a really good team......They are better..MUCH BETTER than Washington State.....and I wouldn't be shocked if they made the elite 8, they are the most experianced 14 seed ever
Re: This year's cinderella... Don't have one this year unless you count Arizona making the Elite 8 as Cinderella type thing. I do have Albany losing in the Sweet 16 to Ohio State.
Re: This year's cinderella... Arizonas not gonna make the elite 8 bud and this is coming from this sites biggest Arizona fan. Purdue will be no problem but we weill get absolutely raped by Florida. The will dominate us in every single aspect of the game down low. Unless we are hitting just about everything from the perimeter we have no chance.
Re: This year's cinderella... To tell you the truth, I have Albany, Oral Roberts, and VCU all getting upset wins in the first round, then losing in the 2nd round. I'm playing it somewhat safe though, because I KNOW that there will be at least 1 or 2 teams that get to the Sweet 16 that shouldn't have. I mean it happens every year, it will happen, I just played it a little safe after the first round.
Re: This year's cinderella... I can't believe nobody's talking about Winthrop.. Only losses were to Texas A&M, Wisconson, Maryland, and UNC all on the road.. They've won every other game and finished the season 28-4.

I picked them to dance to the sweet 16 as well...I picked a TON of upsets this season, because I dont think the seeds from 4-7 are consistent at all.

I don't have any cinderella teams I think can get it done....I believe Notre dame is gonna surprise a lot of people though......I think they could POSSIBLY get to the Elite Eight.....Many have given them little respect....USC ranked ahead of them???Pshh........ :brucelee:

Re: This year's cinderella... ^ Of course not...actually it hardly ever happens, I will say ORal Roberts has a great chance this yearBut I looked at some brackets and from what I saw an average of two 10-12 seeds make the sweet 16 each year...so an 11 seed is expected to make it each year

My big upsets are albany over virginia(who is way overseeded)Illinois over va tech(I must hate virginia schools or something lol)marquette to the elite 8 over UNCnevada to sweet 16 over memphisthats pretty much it I played it safe this year I think the top half of the teams in the bracket this year are too strong. A couple teams got really low seeds for no reason. A&M's seed is too low they shudve been a lock for a 2. Vanderbilt has a somewhat low seed at 6 and they have an easy road to the sweet 16.Also some of the teams who got at large bids are ridiculous and were WAY overseeded. Old dominion, long beach st, and arkansas are all going to be easily routed in the first round againts the likes of 5 seeds. So this year we probably wont be looking at a 5-12 upset unless illinois pulls it off.
