I have had it with Smush. I loved him when he first joined the Lakers, beginning of last season but I have not liked him since the playoffs last year. You could pretty much call me an anti-Smush fan. The guy gambles WAY too much on defense and is the most inconsistant player in the starting lineup. Well, he is consistant for being a starter...I don't think that will last. Some people here attacked me when I criticized Smush earlier this year but now you see where I am coming from. He has had trouble with Phil since the game in Pheonix last week. Him and Phil exchanged words and since then it hasn't been right as far as Smush and his attitude. He got ejected today against Dallas and that's just unacceptable as Greg Anthony put it. He isn't a good enough player to get away with having this type of attitude. Smush has had his chances and I don't believe Phil is going to stand for it. Would not be surprised if Sasha or Shammond started in the future...maybe even Farmar. How do the rest of the Laker fans here feel about him and his problems lately?
I haven't been able to like him since he SINGLE HANDEDLY lost that Phoenix series last year. He's a choker and has blown numerous games this season too. They need to package him somewhere.

He's just a terrible PG. He has bad basketball IQ, he can't play D, he can't pass (he's one of the worst passing PG's in the league), his shot is so goddamn inconsistent.....He's got a bit of explosiveness, but he doesn't use it enough. Also, he is a terrible free throw shooter for a PG. Is there anything that this guy does well? The Lakers just need a Derek Fisher 2.0. They don't need Steve Nash or anything, they just need a guy who is smart, can shoot, and a guy who will play a little defense.
Yes Smush is a joke.. people must feel like he's super lucky right now but when the lakers drop him and he ends up as a 12th man on the Atlanta Hawks roster people will feel sorry for him .. which is just tooo bad.

Honest to God, I've watched a lot of basketball, and he's one of the worst defenders I've ever seen. He gambles way too much, he doesn't use his feet, and he has no fundamentals whatsoever. I'd say the worst part of his game is his defense.
