You do realize that insurance isn't health care, right? Nobody "needs" it. Only big government does so they can pay off mega corporations by mandating the transfer of money from our pockets directly to those corporations. Wonderful. Pass.

Nope. I pay one premium. I have one plan. My wife is also a beneficiary under the plan. We pay into a group. There are some customizations you can make to your plan. You are basically saying women, you need to pay higher premiums because having babies is expensive. You don't think there's something wrong with that?
When people say Medicare for all, they don't literally mean Medicare with no changes. It's simply a shorthand for a public option (Medicare you can buy into) or single-payer. It's an effective shorthand because Medicare is a type of socialized medicine that Americans have become familiar with and seen operate successfully for many years and therefore isn't frightening, the way specters of the old USSR are frightening to people. Right now, Medicare functions alongside supplementary insurance. Presumably, a "Medicare for all" plan would fold that supplementary insurance in. Either at a (subsidized) cost (Medicare you buy) or else as a wholly subsidized system (single-payer). Both of these are likely to be more palatable to Americans than other forms of socialized medicine because the health care delivery would remain in the hands of private industry (no "government doctors")--it would simply be financed for everyone by taxpayers.
You're saying having babies should be free? I am not following your logic. Having babies does cost someone. EDIT: I add, your wife doesn't need to be covered for prostate related issues.
Women should pay for babies. After all, they're the ones having them. Why should men be subsidizing their baby needs?
