Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom Thought this was kind of funny... supposedly it was random that Ainge ended up sitting near Durants Mom during yesturday's Texas game but I find that pretty hard to believe.http://www.theolympian.com/103/story/69751.html
Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom I think Durant is staying for another season. I think its great for players to stay atleast two years in college.
Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom No way in hell Durant stays another year. It would be retarted. What is the point in him staying in college when it is clear that he is NBA ready? You can make the case that he will "progress better in college" and that staying another year will help him "develope", but I think that is all a bunch of bullsh**. What can you learn in college that you cant learn in the pros? If anything, going to the pros would help him develope more, and it would get him tougher. He isnt going to stay another year. I will bet you anything. And I am hoping to god that the Celtics get either the first or second pick in this years draft, because if they do, they are going to be getting one of the NBA's next superstar.
Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom Players always talk like they will stay... it is just easier for them personally when the media is concerned. He would be stupid to stay... tell him to look at the video of Shaun Livingston hurting his knee. Maybe then he will be smart and know nothing is guaranteed so you should probably go to the NBA as soon as possible.
Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom The latest is Ainge was saying he was randomly seated next to Durant's mom. Anyone else digging up that statement with a shovel? :winkglasses:
Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom Haha, that would be awesome if the Celtics ended up with the 3rd pick. You guys would be so uber pissed ending up with Joakim Noah.

There is an immense drop off after the #1,#2. I'd rather take Horford or Wright over Noah.
Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom I am actually of the opinion that if we do not get the opportunity to get Durant or Oden that we deal the pick for a stud vet, the best guy we could get.
Re: Danny Talks with Durant's Mom <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>we deal the pick for a stud vet, the best guy we could get.</div>I like that idea too, I just don't know how much teams are willing to part with for that #3 pick because it is a significant drop off from a Durant or Oden. If we throw in maybe Gerald/Theo's contract we might be able to get some interesting offers.
