John McCain is the senior Republican Senator from Arizona since 1987. A noted American war hero who
fought in the Vietnam War as a naval aviator. His plane was shot down in 1967 and he was nearly killed,
seriously injured and captured by the North Vietnamese. He was a prisoner of war until 1973. He was
tortured and left with lifelong physical problems. He ran for president in 2008 as the Republican candidate
vs. Barack Obama. He has had one of the most heroic journeys. He is now facing the cruelest enemy of
human life........cancer. Beat it to hell, Mr. Senator.

One of the few politicians that have felt the adversity of war. I hope he wins. Obviously, he should retire and spend time with his family. mountainviewcropped.jpg

Sadly glioblastoma is terminal, may be the most aggressive type of cancer we know.

My father in law was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (very advanced) and he doesn't have long either. At a chemo session this week the oncologist told him he had good and bad news. Good news was that he should outlive John McCain but the bad news was that the end will be the same.

FIL also has a lot of respect for McCain as he too was boots on the ground in 67 as a rotating replacement corpsman. When in country was always in combat and always the new guy.

Im tired of losing losing good people to cancer.
