I don't see how spurs could trade for him. What do they have besides Lamarcus shitty trade value? Cavs will want a lot of value in return

Agreed. On contract for at least 2 more years, no no-trade clauses. I'm sure CLE can get better deals of other teams.

Kyrie isn't an off t he ball player. Needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

I obviously love Kyrie? He's a good dude and a good player and you're making baseless claims about him being "ego-driven" just because he wants to be the leader of a team instead of playing under Lebron's shadow. The reason for leaving is exactly that, and has been tweeted by NBA reporters. Kyrie would still be an all-star without Lebron so I don't understand how you can say Lebron got him to the lime-light... Everyone looks better with Lebron but Kyrie wants the challenge of leading his own team through the playoffs.

That's the opposite of "ego-driven". He wants away from a superteam so that he can take on the challenge of leading a team.

Kyrie would have the most responsibility on offense if he went there, and Kawhi would play off him.

He seems like a good guy I am not saying he isn't. Lebron got him to the finals, you can't deny that. Come on

How about the Bucks? Kyrie and Giannis would be a nice combo.

yeah the cavs don't give a fuck where HE wants to go, they will trade with somebody they can get the most value for. People are already laughing at them right now, the last thing they will do is get fucked in a trade

The problem is, he just made it clear that he will only be happy if he is the best player on his team, and any team that has Kyrie Irving as their best player isn't a contender.

So, either he's delusional, or he values his own stats over winning.

Minnesota??? What's with all these motherfuckers wanting to play for that shitty franchise now???
Miami could trade Winslow, Dragic, and Adebeyo. Wouldn't be a bad trade for Cleveland as Dragic is extremely underrated and wouldn't be much of a downgrade from Kyrie, plus they could jumpstart their rebuild if Lebron leaves with Winslow and Bam. New York might be willing to give up Carmelo and their 1st round pick next year. I could see CLE doing that too. Minnesota aint got shit to trade Cleveland. I don't see them trading Wiggins back to CLE for Kyrie (although that'd be crazy). San Antonio doesn't have what CLE wants either.

Damn. Minnesota? That would absolutely suck for us. They really are looking like they are going to be a very darn good team in a couple years (yes I know people been saying that already and it hasn't happened yet so they are skeptical it ever will but sure is looking more likely they "pop" at some point).

And Minny just signed Jeff Teague to a pretty substantial deal to be their PG.

I can't even think of a team off the top of my head except one that has the assets for this. The Celtics hands down

That would actually be crazy smart of MIN to do imo if they could pull it off.

Yeah, I don't see any reason for the Cavs to trade him. They have him locked up to a good contract for multiple years. Just because he asked for one, I don't think he is getting one unless some team gave a Brooklyn Nets type offer.

Kyrie CAN play off the ball well (regardless of what other posters said or think). But really Jeff Teague doesn't hold a candle to him anyways.

If he wants to be the best player on a team, then why does he want to go to SAS and MIN?

He wants more of a role offensively. I think he feels like he can have a Damian Lillard like effect for a franchise and be the leader offensively. It's not that he'll only be happy if he's the best player on the team, I just think he wants out from underneath Lebron's shadow.
