I actually don't see this bad from the coaching stand point, this team has shown alot of improvement from last season. Already 6 games better than last year is something to me, and is worthy of getting looked at. Add to that, he is great at playing and developing t the younger talent and is getting alot out of his talent. I think atleast a couple of more years to prove what he can do with this team is more than fair, because they have shown progress this year.
I don't mind this...I don't LOVE Isiah, but as a Knicks fan he really isn't that bad. They look as though they'll SLIDE into the playoffs, and no one thought they'd be able to get themselves in. They won 23 games last year, we have already won 29 this year.

I love big name franchises continually get ruined.</div>and I hate it when b-ball novices comment on the knicks, isiah has done a pretty good job as head coach of the knicks this season, no one expecected them to win anything this year and their currently #8 in the east, have won 6 more games then last season with 19 games left, and the improvement that players like curry and david lee have shown this season are more reason why zeke should have gotten an extension, stop reading sports newspapers and listening to bad sports talk about the knicks, and actually start watching their games before you comment on the team
I give Isaiah credit for his coaching but his GM status? C'Mon, the guy is worse than Danny Ainge. He drafts well but my lord some of his signings and trade acquisitions have been horrible. BUT, Isaiah has done an impressive job coaching this team.
I love seeing the reaction from ignorant fools that know NOTHING about ny and the knicks. knock on isiah as much as you want the dude came to the whackest team in the league 3.5 years ago and got rid of players like eisely, anderson etc. a team with no hope, no future, nothing to build on, unwatchable. some of you are so bias when it comes to the knicks and to say that giving isiah an extension is a bad idea is retarded. this team was talented last year and larry brown just shattered the teams confidence. now the players are more motivated under thomas and they're playing hard for him. 20-17, Yeah that's the teams record since carmelo anthony ran away from lil nate. isiah deserves the extension as a coach not really as the gm. even tho he did make the knicks more watchable, more athletic and more exciting despite the cap problems. I think dolan should've waited until the season ended before awarding the extension but seriously to say he doesn't deserve this is stupid. the team is fighting for a playoff spot with key injuries to david lee and jamal crawford. the knicks are good but since they have no nationally televised games people outside of ny just judge them from last year and assume they suck. they're not 100% there but if they can continue to play well at home like they are, watch out for them in the playoffs.
