Well are you a Vet? Perhaps you can clarify it for me? Maybe it's the boner pills?

Because I'm such a nice guy, I'll help you out.

The sentence said: "If snowflake generals are wringing their hands over trans soldiers not being badass enough, or their medication costing money while they down boner pills and suffer PTSD, that's their fucking problem."

Now, I will change certain sections of the sentence different colors to help simplify it for you.

"If snowflake generals are wringing their hands over trans soldiers not being badass enough, or their medication costing money while they down boner pills and suffer PTSD, that's their fucking problem."

Clearly, the "that's their *** problem" portion at the end related back to the generals' hand-wringing at the beginning. And the hand-wringing is only being done in regard to soldiers' badassery or medication's cost. The PTSD is mentioned only in relation to the cost of the corresponding boner pills the PTSD necessitates.

    Does that help?

I said it was the fault of the generals if they're going to worry more about trans people hurting the military than soldiers with PTSD.

I have seen PTSD tear apart friends; I support them and wish that mental health treatments weren't so stigmatized in America that they feel they don't have any support.

Apropos of nothing, I also think literacy is very important.

Our military has responded worldwide in times of natural disaster and famine just to name a few instances where they weren't used for war. Our military has done amazing and honorable things all over the world that wasn't war.

Oh yes! very helpful. Making light of the the PTSD and the treatment as compared to the huge issue of very expensive Transgender treatment.
Those fucking Generals hardly have their priorities sorted.

Like boner pills, HRT is not expensive; hell, for trans men, testosterone is practically free (because it's already a supplement for manly men who need to feel manly longer). Surgery is a one time cost, and for many trans people, it is optional or even not wanted.

Very good Sly. The benevolent Force! Damn it conjures up the sound of the GarryOwen!
But I don't think we would maintain the force for that warm feeling. A Ford Class Carrier and battle group is way too expensive.

    Well adjusted... that's rich.

As someone who has gone through MEPS, I can tell you that your physical/mental exam isn't so good at weeding out the unhealthy or not-so-well adjusted people.

When I was in bootcamp we would have people fall on the ground and fake a seizure just to get out of the military. Totally healthy and well-adjusted, right? One guy who took the oath with me at MEPS faked a seizure and pissed himself just to get out of bootcamp.

Or... you know.... this kind of thing.

Please, give me an example how being trans would negatively impact their ability to do their job?

That's not what I was saying. The quote from that guy's statement was, "The Military has one job. War. Anything else is a distraction and a liability."

That is not true and proved examples. Now you're trying to spin it into something else.

War is the main job of our military but not the only one.

I didn't ask you about military. I asked which direction you would go starting a new company ( a business)?

The WNBA and the NBA are not the same thing.

Virtually all of the pro leagues are not "men's leagues." They are widely considered the best in the world, so if there was a woman that was good enough to compete, she would be in those pro leagues.

The WNBA is a women's league. Do you see the distinction?

So you are saying women are not good enough on an open playing field and must be segregated in a "special" league to accommodate their false empowerment?

Going have to side with Linc Sly. War, Prepping for War, posturing to prevent War is the reason for the force.
While not the only reason for the National Guard, that does much disaster work. Any good that comes out of the force is not the reason to have it.
But I will go with sometime the good work is also part of posturing!:cool2:

    PS

I believe this notion that the military is there to farther the social agenda of do good gang is utter bullshit.
