I don't get this list at all. Brent Barry? Maybe now, but back in the day he was a great offensive player, he could rebound dish the ball and do other things than just shoot. And Shaq?? Shaq only had one threat to his game? Was it backing someone into the ground, or dunking over anyone, or drawing triple teams and dishing the ball to the open man? This list has a ton of flaws.

Outrebounds the best, an blocks the rest. Most players in the NBA are pretty diverse in there game. The only real 1 dimensional dudes I can think of are slow strictly 3 point shooters, and big men with no speed who can only rebound ETC. I think Adam Morrision for the Charlotte Bobcats is very 1 dimensional. He can't drive, his handles kinda suck, and his D is aweful. The only thing he really excels at is 3 point shooting.
That list makes no sense, but I will list some players....Ben Gordon. He is just a scorer and nothing else really.Kyle Corver. Flat out shooterCarmelo Anthony. He only plays on one side of the ball...There are others, but you get the idea.

Are the best offensive players in the game right now. and Have you ever seen Shaq grab the ball on offense and not post up, or back up into someone? Your brain has flaws.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (WELCOMEtotheJUNGLE @ Mar 13 2007, 10:40 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>And Shaq?? Live by the jump shot die by the jump shot player.Jason KapanoSame as Korver basically, but he does have a mid range game, but not as much as his outside shotDwight HowardDwight Howard mainly posts up near the basket, and outside of 8-10 feet has no real offensive game.Brent BarryFrom what Ive seen Barry of the past couple years, and his career mostly, he hovers around the perimeter, and rarely drive.Ben WallaceHe just shoots from the mid range, you don't see him drive a whole lot, and if you dump him the ball he will occasionaly dunk it for you.<u>Defensively</u>Steve NashEven his perimeter D has flaws, the most he does is take a charge now and then like Mavsfan said.Charlie VilleneuvaHis shoulders are lubricated, and has no real defensive presence. He is a good rebounder though, (In case y'all didnt notice, ONE DIMENSIONAL)Mike JamesHe is good at getting steals, but thats about it, he wont bother your shot much, and he will let you shoot over him.Shaun LivingstonSame as James, very good stealing average, not a lockdown defender, and gets harrased by the bigger guards.
Korver isn't as one dimensional as he used to be... he drives more now (although tends to set up players), crashes the offensive boards, posts up the smaller man, etc. Obviously the majority of his offensive game revolves around his shooting (as it should, because you play to your strengths), but he is less one dimensional than he used to be offensively, in my opinion. Every year he adds something else to his game, and makes a lot of improvement/progress.

Your making no sense with your logic or reasoning. When people talk about a player being one dimensional they mean he's only good at one thing. You have a few good ones up there but your calling players who can do a lot of things one-dimensional, which isn't true. All I was saying is that Brent Barry hasn't always been just a guy coming off the bench and shooting a couple of threes like he is now. He had multiple seasons of having 4 or more assists per game as well as grabbing significant rebounds. He has always shot phonomenal percentages both 3PT and regular FG's. Just because he doesn't score 40 points a game doesn't mean he has more "dimensions" to his game. If anything, he was the complete opposite of being a one-dimensional player. He had many dimensions and was a very versatile offensive player in his prime.Your also calling Shaquille O'Neal, one of the most dominant centers of all-time, one dimensional. That is just retarted. Literally, retarted. My sister could make a smarter comment than that. This guy could do everything as a big man. You're an idiot for calling Shaq one-dimensional.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Brent BarryFrom what Ive seen Barry of the past couple years, and his career mostly, he hovers around the perimeter, and rarely drive.</div>That's also retarted. Either you're 10 years old and never saw that or have no idea what you're talking about.
It's hard to say someone's one-dimensional defensively. Everyone plays defense, even if they are bad at it. Offensively is much easier to debate. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Have you ever seen Shaq grab the ball on offense and not post up, or back up into someone?</div>What the hell do you want him to do, shoot a three? Look at Steve Nash, he is known as a big offensive threat because he can pass so well.
