    I'm not sexist, but this is political correctness gone mad! What's next, Jane Bond? Is nothing sacred? It's DOCTOR Who, not Nurse Who! This is definitely going to fail! The BBC has a lefty agenda... Typical BBC lefty brigade! I'm all for gender equality, but the BBC has destroyed a great show! He's a time LORD, not a time LADY! When can I expect a male Wonder Woman? The Doctor is a MALE, how can he become FEMALE? BBC ratings are going to plummet! What's next, Mrs. Holmes? Well, I won't be watching! I look forward to Miss Marple being a man! My childhood is RUINED! Will the Cybermen be Cyberpersons now? RUINED just like Star Wars... I'm a woman and I hate this decision! I have to pay my TV license for THIS?!? Looks like Doctor Who just lost a fan...

    I guess I'm just not that attached to any one fictional character. :dunno:

    Well, I was pissed when they changed the Dirk Pitt character in Sahara. It's a character that had many many books written about him, and they changed his background. Maybe the screenplay writers didn't think two Air Force pilots were believable, so they had to make them into Navy SEALs?

    BTW, it was hard to fit all of those into one coherent paragraph..... a little appreciation would be.... appreciated?

    Except, the Dr has had lengthy conversations about past female regenerations. It is and always has been part of the story, it just wasn't necessarily shown. I think it is about time to show it.

    Well he's a Nazi now in the comics so there's some disconnect for sure... but in the movies? Watch Wonder Woman and First Avenger back to back; same movie different wars.
