Could it be Dwyane Wade if he adds a deadly 3pt shot to his game? Or will LeBron simply take over the league? What about someone who isn't even in the league yet, like Kevin Durant or maybe Greg Oden.. what do you guys think? My pick is LeBron, but I am still thinking about Durant.
Big Al Jefferson for most dominant post player. The kids like 21 or something and he's already unstoppable in the post. Surround him with a coach who knows how to run a team, and guys who can enter the ball into the post and I honestly think Al could be the best post player in the year. His post moves are already polished and dominant. Imagine what five years of seasoning will do to him.
Greg Oden will be the winningnest. Lebron, Wade, Arenas, and Carmelo will be the top 4. Chris Bosh, Josh Howard, and Dwight Howard will be pretty close. Durant might be top 10. Kevin Martin and Monta Ellis may be borderline top 15.
Interesting question. It's impossible to tell how college players will do in the NBA, so Durant and Oden are out for me. That leaves Wade, LeBron, Bosh, Howard, Amare, Melo, etc... My guess is LeBron, but it is impossible to tell. He still has more potential than anyone else, and still has room to improve in a lot of areas.
In 5 years, Dwyane Wade will be 30 and LeBron will be 27....lord...My best guess is LeBron James because he's so good now, add in 5 more years of experience...yikes.
I think it will come down toDwight HowardGreg OdenKevin DurantDwyane WadeLebron JamesOr maybe even a player we had no idea would explode will become a dominant player on top of the league
Chris Paul, it's hard not to say LeBron, Deron Williams, Al Jefferson has the chance to be the most dominant low post player, D-Wade, Melo, Dwight, and like any other player on the Celtics....if Gerald Green can reach his full potential he has a chance too.
Hmmm maybe luol Deng?? Hes only 21 years old and is getting 19ppg and 8rpgAlso is Gordon can learn to dribble a little more he can be an other Areans Type player.. Maybe better.....and I didnt feel like sayin Lebron ETC cause every one is picking them

Im surprised no one has said Kobe. He'll only be 33.You have to but Iguodala into consideration. He'll be able to do it all by then.

I think that Lebron will be the best player in the game by then. As of right now, I have him in my top 3, and in 5 years, he is going to be even better. I think Durant has a really good chance to be nothing short of amazing. I just cant predict that until I see him play in some NBA games. Oden will be good, but he wont be that good. He is just going to go #1 because he is a good defender, he is monstrous, and centers are hard to come by. He is a good player, but he isnt skilled like those others....
I think dwight howard is kind of a one-dimensional offensive player as in scoring.if bosh bulks up even just a bit and increases his shooting range to about 22 feet he should be a GREAT player..but for now I gotta say lebron even though I dont like him and I think hes overrated
I gotta pick Lebron-He is younger than all of the other top 10 players in the league. He will only get better. Especially on a team that can play a faster pace.
I think it will probably be lebron, but watch out for chris paul. This kid is good and will only improve.
