No one can talk bad about Dear Leader! Do not question our glorious savior! We will rise up and overthrow this government if you impeach the chosen one!

Sounds and awful lot like the beginnings of what's going on in Turkey.

I suspect it's what develops when certain people get into the grog far too early in the day.......

Not at all. At least it is in the Constitution as the appropriate action for a crime.
Let those that want to take this action for a trumped up crime, explain their action to their voters. If not shut the fuck up.

When the impeachment proceedings start, I'm sure full explanations will be given (which you will reject). Until then, it's a bit too early to demand to know why.

Heard the phrase, "Speaker Maxine Waters" today. First time I have heard this. Holy Mackerel! Is this the best the Dems can do?
Wow I can't imagine a person more likely to wipe their ass with the Constitution than read it!

Watch the leader in action. Ha! Especially the Hillary was on to Putin part. Remember the reset?

Impeach Trump because he is a bad person.

    Then impeach Pence too!!!

Rule of law like this can't end in anything good.

Could be. But it doesn't matter, the Representatives in Oregon are probably safe to be fools. Others will need to tread carefully.

Something you might not know - fox news makes shit up to rile up people like you. Maxine Waters will never be speaker.

I'm sure they will attempt to take their constituents views in mind. House members all stand for election every two years.

However, you might want to take a look at the polls - as I'm sure the House members do.

Someone please tell me one thing that Trump has done that deserves admiration and loyalty?

    He won the election.

We used to have an orderly transition of government form one president to another, even of different parties.

    No.

Winning an election is a reward for running a good campaign. That's when you make promises. Simply winning an election is not a reason for loyalty.

It has been... what... 9 months since he won? What has he accomplished other than take a shit load of vacations? His track record so far supports my theory before he was even elected that it was all about winning and that he didn't really want the job.

It's not the fault of the outgoing administration that the incoming administration is incompetent and doesn't listen to advice. E.g. "don't hire Mike Flynn".

Big difference between acting Speaker and actual Speaker.

For one thing, she's even older than Pelosi.

Denny has an Atlantic article to prove how much Trump has achieved and it basically boils down to: he's appointed judges. Like every President.

No, give me something. Something quantifiable. What has he done to deserve this kind of staunch loyalty? People are willing to fight and die for him and for what? What has he done?

Washington led our armies that won our independence.

Lincoln freed the slaves and kept the country together.

Roosevelt led us through the Great Depression and most of WWII.

    Trump has done.... what exactly?

    Hello darkness, my old friend
He won them heart and mind in the early days of his campaign. He broke from establishment candidates to say the things that have simmered quietly in their heads but had no outlet in national politics until Trump--some of them intensely racist and xenophobic, of course, but some of the things were legitimate concerns about their economic way of life and even understandable concerns about their cultural way of life. Trump, of course, is a con man who only pretended to care about their concerns (even on immigration and globalization, Trump has never scrupled to forbear from using illegal immigrant labor or having products made overseas), but he said exactly the things that the people who now have undying loyalty for him despaired of ever hearing from a national politician.

So, at this point, there is nothing that will cost him their support. There won't be any "breaking point" with them. They don't judge his actions by a right/wrong scale--they judge what's right or wrong by what he does and the positions he stakes out. That ~20% of the voting public is essentially locked in for him. What will determine his fate is how much of the rest of the Republican voter base sticks with him.
