Surprise! I don't think Devin Harris could get a foul call if his middle name was Wade. Terrible officiating on both ends of the court, especially down the stretch.

Dirk blew this game by himself. Missed 2 free throws. Missed the potential game winning shot and let Nash go off. Where was Diop though?

I give credit to the Suns for winning the game, but Dallas shot horribly on the FT in the last 4th quarter where Dirk shoots 2-4 and Howard shoots 1-2 on the line. If we make those shots, the Mavs win in regulation.

We got a couple calls, but not nearly as many.

This game freaking ruined my night. The mavs are chokers no matter if they like it or not. Dirk is not a dependable guy in close games.

Fun times, disappointing loss though. That was some horrible execution in the last minute of the 4th quarter by the Mavs. Gave Suns 5 freebies with some stupid fouls, then proceeded to miss fts. One play that pissed me off and is a recurring trend is Mavs giving up layups when they hold the lead in the final minute, thinking they can turn this into a free throw shooting contest. That layup they gave Nash with like 28-30 seconds to go killed us.Exciting game nonetheless, similar to last year's opener.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Dirk blew this game by himself. If anything, Avery should have went with Buck to start the game. Then put Howard or Buck on Nash. I bet it would have turned our 1st quarter into something a lot better. Nash needs a bigger guard on him. Plus, Howard should get some blame as well. Missed a free throw then fouled Nash from the arc.

I don't know PJ, Marion really came up in the clutch on defense at the end and Amare was 16-19! 41 points.

They weren't even contesting his jumpshots....he won a scoring title for god sake!!But yeah, this was a mirror of the first game, and these teams play each other so evenly it isn't even funny. But it was clear how much they need Amare this year, and just how valuable he will be in the playoffs.

That was by far the best Basketball game I have seen in years. I was begging for shots to go in, just for more OT. That was amazing, I was breathless. I am not a fan of either team, but I could not sit down on my couch, and I was yelling at the TV. The Basketball side of my brain was having a prolonged, very intense orgasm.I need a tape of this s***. Seriously, I wanna find it on some site, DL it, than burn it to a DVD so I can watch it again. Theres a problem though. I don't know how to burn DVD's of files, that I can later play on my DVD player. That s*** was crazy! :worthy:

Dallas shot a horrible percentage from the field and had a ton of turnovers that weren't forced by the Suns. I'd say that it was more on the Mavs than it was on the Sun defense. Yes Nash had a few great defensive plays that changed the game, but lets be honest, he didnt hold Terry in check or anything. Dallas makes Diaw useless, Amare cant blockout at all and Marion cant guard both Dirk and Howard. Bell cant gaurd both Harris and Terry. Also, this is a regular season game. I'm not taking anything from the Suns win, but lets not give them the championship yet.

He did make some big shots today and did have a great playoffs for the most part last year. I wouldn't worry about him in the playoffs this year.
