if mavs fans can get excited for their own2 point win and say that they are ona nother level then dont try and take thd importance away whenyou lose. this suns road win showeda that they are just as good but they do need the next game too cause thats the one most in players minds at playoff time. by asufan who hates psp posting

I really didn't expect to be 3-0 aginst the Suns. I knew they would put up a great battle. Even if the Mavs won I am still disapointed on the 1st half performance. Played some terrible basketball. Very sloppy. If anything happens like that in a playoff, Mavs could easily be beaten. Good come back though, great fans.Game 4 is right around the corner April 1st
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>That was one of the worst reffed games ever</div>Didn't your team win? I do agree there were some bad calls but nothing drastic that would change the outcome.
Great game, I watched it last night. Not as good as the Nets-Suns game though. Nash was insane last night with all the plays he pulled out, and if the season ended today I would still give Nash the MVP. He just improved his chances last night while Dirks got hurt. He played a good game until the end, where he choked. He might not be a choker, but he was last night. Meanwhile Nash was the total opposite and killed the Mavs along with Amare. Nobody on the Mavs team could stop amare, hes to strong for dirk/dampier or whoever. Marion played great down the strech, doing the little things. His defense on Dirk was great, along with that rebound he got and put in to put the Suns back up by 4 (I think). Terry did great, came up with some big shots. I love his passion for the game though, I love his emotion. About the only one I like on the Mavs

Not like he's saying it wouldn't ahve been as close if the refs didn't make bad calls against the Suns. It was pretty bad officiating all around but it was still a great game.
I was at the Nets-Suns, 161-157 game, and I actually found this game to be better. Sure, the Nets-Suns game had a lot more scoring and was close throughout the whole game, but the M avs-Suns game had 2 buzzer beating 3's to send game into their respective overtimes, both teams came roaring back from 15pt deficits, and it was a much more meaningful game.
The referees did make some bad calls, but in the end, they didnt make Dallas lose and Phoenix win. The things that Nash did at the end of the game won it for Phoenix. The things that Dirk and company didnt do cost us the game. We had a few costly technical fouls by Dampier and Dirk that werent nessesary. Dampier pulls up on the rim and Dirk starts harrassing the refs after a bad call. There the Suns get 2 points on the free throw line. Dirk and Howard also miss very BIG free throws themselves. Dirk went 2-4 at the free throw line at the end of the game. He's a 91% FT shooter and is 3rd in the league. Howard goes 1-2 and is a solid free throw shooter. They make those shots, the game is over in regulation and we are talking about this very differently. Did Dirk choke somewhat? I believe thats a yes to an extent, but players do have bad games every once in a while. I'll give him a pass; he did have a game winner against this team earlier on in the season, so its not a question of whether he choked, its just an instance where he had a bad game. Nash on the other hand played very well when the game mattered most. He got the 3 to send it to OT and then hit the ball off Terry in the final 30 to give the ball back to Phoenix. Dallas is up 2-1 in the season series and these two teams will most likely meet in the Western Conference Finals if everything goes thier way. Dallas will most likely meet Utah or Houston in the second round while Phoenix will probably meet San Antonio. Should be a very exciting postseason if this was some kind of forshadowing.

Then the Nets missed a shot that rolled in and out (kidd) that would have gave the Nets the win. That was a more emtertaining game then this, but both are great. If I only got a chance to watch one though, I would pick Nets-Suns. And no, that not just because im a nets fan.

There were huge swings for both teams with Dallas-Phoenix, the atmosphere was incredible, Amare went for 41, and it was the 2 best teams in the league. As much as I love the Nets (I'm an NJ native and have been going to nets games my whole life), I just felt that the Dallas-Phoenix game was a bit more exciting and it felt like game 7 of the Finals with the atmosphere. The 161-157 game was incredible, and I still can't believe I was lucky enough to go to that game, but I felt that Dallas-Phoenix was better.
Dang, not only was I pleasantly surprised that I'd be able to watch that game, but they showed a replay this morning and I got to se the 3rd and 4th quarters and relive it again. I really thought the Mavs had it wrapped up.
