Ok so last night when I was watching this game on TiVO, I saw we were down by 5 with 20 seconds left so I was like yeah we can't come back. So I came on here and posted about the refs (I meant in the 3rd quarter). Then I went to NBA.com and read that we won so I ran back to my TiVO, watched the rest...and dang! Nash is a freakin beast!

Nash got some calls that were debatable, but at least they had some merit. What truly annoyed me was all the calls that Barbosa was getting. It's one thing when you see something wrong (like Stack getting elbowed in the face or along those lines), but some calls were made just because someone got touched. Perhaps it is more a problem with the rules of the NBA in general. I don't know.

There were some bad no calls on that game, but overall, it was probably the best live game I have ever watched.

I can't wait till they play again in april when both teams are completely healthy. It should be a good game as long as George and Buck are back and no one fouls out. Phoenix could even the season at 2-2, or Dallas could pull away at 3-1. Next time, the Mavs need to limit Stoudemire's touches down low and don't give him any open jumpers. It was wierd that Phoenix seemed to have the advantage in a half-court set. Which ever team dictates the flow of the game in the way that they want to play and starts off very strong and finishes should win this next game. Anything can happen though when Phoenix can cut leads down very quickly with their ability to make threes all night long.

I don't want to wish injuries, but I don't feel bad about it either. The next game will be very important. If the Suns can't win that then this game will be very meaningless no matter how exciting it was because Dallas will have a 3-1 season lead and prove that they are the best in the league. If the Suns win though, they'd be 2-0 against them after the all-star break and the confidence they have and maybe, but doubtfully, they'll put a little doubt inside the Mavs.

Props to Dirk for having a good 4th quarter. Though it was only against the Celtics but all the wins are needed.
