I have mixed emotions about the part in bold. It's the Lakers, so of course I want the max penalty possible.

But, on the other hand, if he is banned from playing for the Lakers, it significantly increases the odds he stays in OKC, and I don't want that either.

Either outcome sucks. I just don't want Magic getting his way.
 
Its so hard to prove this. I think this is more the league saying "hey were watching so don't make it so goddamn blatant please" then it is them wanting to crack down on it and actually punish teams.
 
Does Magic own horses? We should "tamper" one of them.

I'm just sayin... Did this non blazer news, about a team we hate and a GM we fired, deserve a whole thread (not labeled OT) when we already covered it in the around the NBA thread? :dunno:

It's like @HCP made a thread about his favorite team cause he's pissed at KPee.

Laker bashing is a traditional Blazer fan past time though..

I didn't know you guys had been talking about it in the AROUND THE NBA thread because I had been working for 8 hours today. I heard about on the radio while doing my job and when I was on my way home I looked for it on the forum main page and didn't find anything about it on the main page or the OT page which legitimately surprised me because I thought for sure there would be one just purely for trash talk on the Lakers. I did not read the Around the NBA thread because I figured this story was too big to get lost in a thread like that and would surely have its own thread. Surely.

I guess I was wrong.

Now I don't have time to debate with you right now as I have to go to sleep so I won't be tired at the job I work at for 8 hours MON-FRI.

Oh and I also work a job from 8-5 Mon-Fri. I have another job where I work nights. That same job keeps me working on weekends too. From October to June I work 7 days a week. Sooooo.... you don't work more than me.
 
I'm not seeing a problem with this thread.
 
I'll give it a Blazers connection just to try to keep everybody happy: Perhaps if the Lakers hadn't tampered with George he would have been more receptive to the idea of being traded here. We've all heard that Olshey supposedly offered all three first round picks and any combination of players other than Dame, CJ, and Nurkic. In order to offer up that much Blazers treasure, I have to think that there was a caveat about George being willing to re-sign here.

It was't really that much of a complaint. It was more like:

"Really? It's already in the AATNBA thread but ok."

Then I got a superfluous soliloquy on what it means to get up in the morning and go to work without being tired.... :dry:

Well, I can write a soliloquy too.

I typically work 7 days a week for over 6 months of the year.
I only sleep 6 hours a day.
I can jog to Putnam HS from home, referee for 6-8 hours, and then come home and give my lady 4 orgasms.
I don't get tired.

Somebody needs to work out and stop being defensive.

His mention of it insinuates that I don't know what he's going through since he works from 8-5. Like I don't have several jobs.

Again, this really isn't that serious. MFs can stop being butthurt over my slight complaint.
