I haven't seen him play, and I really don't dare take Austingriz's word.
Washington Wizards18. Marcus Williams :brickwall: We should have taken him while he was falling in the 1st round. I have no idea how Pecherov will end up, so I can't say, but still, Marcus Williams would have been a big upgrade over Donell Taylor.

I thought we should have taken Aldridge from the begining but I think Tyrus Thomas will be a great player also.

Even if by some chance the Bulls passed, Thabo Sefolosha would never have gotten past Phoenix at 21. He was the guy the Suns tried everything they could think to move up to obtain him and when they couldn't work out a deal with anyone they packed up and left the draft completely.

I really believe we would still take JJ Redick at that point in the draft over Paul Milsapp. Redick still has a nice stroke, maybe one of the nicest on this planet, his shots are always on the right path they were just short this year. We need a shooter, and that is what he is for us, so I really do believe we would still take Redick at that spot in the draft. Also knowing what we know now, I believe the Hawks would either take Shelden Williams still, or take Rajon Rhondo over Foye. Rhondo would be better for setting up the offense and playing like a traditional point guard, which is what the Hawks need, rather than a big time scoring point guard. Should he get past them, I believe the Celtics would end up taking Rhondo at that 7th spot this year if he was still there, and they hadn't traded over Tyrus Thomas.

Danny Ainge said that after the draft, and while some thought "yeah right" at the time, I can see why now. Danny has an unbelievable eye for talent, and he and Doc both felt that Rondo was easily the best point guard in this draft, with a ton of upside. He absolutely ran circles around both Marcus Williams and Randy Foye in Celtic workouts (literally and figuratively), and I am so greatful we were able to make that deal with Phoenix. Thank you, Phoenix! Also, I still stand by what I said last June... Toronto should have taken LaMarcus Aldridge at #1.
