    Sounds like a war zone. Or a terrorist attack against some bazaar in the middle east.

    It's not during some right wing rally, but every weekend in Chicago.

    1. They look like old middle class people that aren't in Chicago.
    2. I'm not so sure most of the people tearing down the statues are black people, especially older ones.
    3. The situation in Chicago is unbelievable.

    And the whole thing is stupid. This is white privilege as I see it. We push black people into living in a ghetto with ridiculously terrible schools and they turn to gangs.

    I don't give a shit about the fucking statues. Mostly it saddens me to see that the statues are the focus of people so in that way I agree with the cartoon.

    Statues represent a person's legacy and 7 dead/38 wounded is an expected Chicago disaster now. Who gives a shit about a liberal agenda about civil war statues when in the real and present world people (especially family) are killed or shot.

    Statues aren't the focus, though. They're something simple that can solved immediately. The violence going on in inner cities is a complicated problem that matters much more but can't be so easily solved and will take a lot of moving parts. It's not like it's one or the other.

    if you are talking about now compared to the past? yeah it's true, black on black crime is a major issue that gets sugar coated by the left and it's actually kind of really bad

    I don't think it was. It's simple, put the statues in a museum. Problem solved, they are off the streets and held in a place where you can view history. However people are over exaggerating that rally that happened. When black on black violence occurs EVERY DAY at an alarming rate, especially in chicago. I mean google every weekend, this is what pulls up. Is that acceptable? are we really gonna act like there isn't a problem with black on black violence or are we gonna ignore it and blame white people?

    Chicago had one of the most crooked police departments in the nation. I think cleaning that up will start to have an effect on crime. If you don't trust the police you won't use them to fix the problems.
