The DNC wants so desperately to con it's followers the same way the RNC does. The only problem is, they are so poorly run that it just comes off as some super villain from a childrens movie.

If you were to visually compare them, it would be this:

The DNC is struggling to get Hillary's people out of the top positions. Until they do that they are lost.

“I am completely dubious of these claims that socialized medicine is wildly popular,” said Jonathan Cowan, president of Third Way. “They never tell people in their polls that it would mean taxes go up significantly and they would not keep their doctor. Try that out. The moment you actually tell people what it is, support collapses.”

Cowan noted that Colorado voters in November soundly defeated a single-payer proposal. “This is a dangerous political fantasy,” he said. “If you believe in single-payer health insurance and don’t care about the consequences, fine. But to argue it is a political winner when it literally has never gotten more than 30% in a ballot measure is wrong.”

Many times ballot measures are defeated but reintroduced and eventually passed. It doesn't mean that it's a bad idea. Sometimes the original measure is just a poor one.

Oregon voters turned down legalizing pot twice before finally passing it.

California voters originally said no to gay marriage.

That doesn't mean that those ideas were dead or should never have been represented to voters.

The road to legalization of marijuana took time for the public polling to be in favor. When the public is in favor, they'll vote in favor.

I don't think California voters every said "yes" to gay marriage. It was ordered by the courts, I do believe.

I quoted a democrat source saying the polls do not support single payer when the person is provided with the costs. It's on topic because it is a source of contention among democrats looking for a positive economic message (the old one got us Trump).

That is trumped up bull. We'd save money with single payer. Your healthcare premium would be eliminated. Stop falling for crap.

It's a democratic think tank telling the truth.

Do you know anyone who lives overseas and has that type of healthcare? Anyone? My brother does. And again you have no clue.

My healthcare premium is $396 per month. I'd happily trade that $4752 per year to pay an extra $500 in taxes. It's simple math.

Most people can save money buying a used car. Doesn't mean they want it.

    Right!
I am still waiting for Veterans Choice to schedule me for some tests. Six weeks now, governments ability to deliver necessary services is not simple math.

    YOU would.

    I wouldn't.

It's rather fascist to force me and the tens of millions like me.

Plus it's more like $12000 in taxes to support single payer.
