Both of these teams are 11 seeds, and they both got in to the tourney by winning thier conference. Who do you think will make it further in the tournament?I am going to go with VCU. I really loved their guard play and I think that a good pg can lead a team further than any other team. Their conference is very underrated and VCU is out of the same conference as last years final four team, George Mason. You can make a good case for Winthrop though....They have won like 18 games in a row or something like that.

Dude, dont come in her and post that retarted bullsh**. Memphis is a #2 seed and just because some people think they are going to lose to a very good A&M team doesn't make them underrated. Dont post in here if you arent going to be serious and answer the question.

I'm also going to say VCU but because I think they will be playing an easier opponent. If Gray gets in foul trouble, Pittsburgh doesn't play as good. Even though Oregon struggled today, I think they are capible of playing much better. Really any of Oregon's starters could score 20 a game. Oregon's really down fall is they take a lot of threes which could keep Winthrop in the game. I think at least one of these teams will win though.

O, I forgot who these teams were playing....I didnt even factor that in. haha...Considering that, I might want to favor Winthrop a little bit more. Oregon didnt play very well today at all, and its going to be hard for VCU to contain Gray. Duke didnt have a real low post player, and VCU is going to struggle. I think VCU is better, but Winthrop has an easier opponent.

Eh . . If Michigan State was ranked a little more down, they would be my underdog.

If they were an underdog, they wouldnt be ranked #2 in their bracket, and they wouldnt be ranked as high as they were in the nation. Just because people have them losing in the 3rd round or so doesn't make them an underdog. An underdog is a team that is ranked lower in the seeding, that not many people no much about, that make it further. And Memphis is definitely not that...

IMO, your a underdog when they think your not going to win something, and almost anybody ive seen on TV, and several posts have memphis losing to Nevada..if not them, the next opponent...and so on. I think we're a underdog....defiently not underrated...but IMO I think we a underdog for the rest of the tourney.

No....Why would they be considered an underdog when they are going up agaisnt a #7 seed? It just doesn't make sense. And ask alot of people on here....They have Memphis losing in the 3rd round. Show me where they think Memphis is going to lose to Nevada...Memphis is a #2 seed in their bracket, and were rated very high overall going in to the tournament. They are in no way an underdog unless they are going up agaisnt a #1 team, and about 5-7 other teams.

im just saying, basicly everybody from EPSN.com and all the sport websites have Memphis losing to Nevada...I think its outragous too that they think that...but they do. And it sortve makes us a underdog going into that game. And as you said, most have us losing in the 3rd round, which makes us a underdog then. And if we got to the Elite 8, I know people will pick Ohio St. over us...which means we're the underdog...again.

Well, if they make it to the 3rd round, then they would be meeting a very good A&M team, so I guess you could consider them an underdog in that game....But not really. They are seeded higher, and were ranked higher nationally at the end of the season....I think A&M is better, but everyone doesn't think that. And everyone is an underdog to OSU. They are the best team in the country. Im just saying they arent an underdog agaisnt Nevada, and this shouldnt be a team that is considered an underdog....Maybe once they get later on in the rounds, but not right now like VCU or Winthrop.

Memphis isn't an underdog.I predicted both VCU and Winthrop would win the first round (though I made a lot of bad upset calls), but I think the same as potg...<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (playaofthegame @ Mar 16 2007, 06:56 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Neither..They're both gonna get eliminated in the 2nd round</div>

I think VCU will, every ranked team Winthrop played they lost too. I think VCU will get Gray in fould trouble early and pull away. Without Gray, Pitt is in the NIT.
