Well stated, and I can't say I really disagree with anything you wrote. The controlling class will do anything to stay in control. I have no problem talking about it though. I think Trump is a tool, as have been most recent presidents. All I can really do is compare them to each other, and on that scale of shittiness, Trump is easily on the bottom of that human pile. Others may disagree. That's fine.
This is what I am also saying, why do people try and connect this with the neo nazi rally? I mean that makes no sense. whether it was right or wrong pardoning him, making that connection is kinda ridiculous
and I am not argueing whether he was deserving or not but the shitty timing in relation to current events. putting it off for a couple of weeks would not have hurt Arpaio but "time heals all wounds".
I mean yeah that's all I am saying, people spend too much time comparing presidents and who is better or worse. You can go through each one and some of the corrupt things they have done and I am not just talking character flaws, I am talking full on bullshit corruption. People just pick and choose when to see it based on their bias view of each president. Democrats will forever protect democratic presidents and republicans protect prior republican presidents regardless of what they did
There was no need to do this right now. Why not let things die down a little, even a month or so? Why not combine this with some other pardons?
This was a quick alt right pardon for Trump....secret code for, I got your back even if I made a fake apology earlier
I personally would love to see Assange and Snowden pardoned. I know some people think they are traitors but they have done nothing but reveal things our citizens need to know. They uncovered the corruption. No president will do it though for whatever reason but this old fuck gets pardoned. Look, this old dude I imagine has old school racist views. That's just how these guys are. My fucking grandpa is about the same age as this dude, been through war, republican. Always wanted me to be a marine."You would make a great marine", did the same shit to my dad too. Italian dude came up in Chicago, escaped the mob, dudes fucking lost his mind, he thinks we should bomb the middle east and just get rid of them. Believe it or not a lot of these prehistoric fucks exist. It is what it is. I mean are you really this bent out of shape that this old dude got pardoned? i'm not. sure the timing is just coincidence. How much time do we need to "heal" from a stupid ass neo nazi march? my issue is this over reaction to things man, I get it the neo nazis were bad, everybody thinks they are a bunch of out of touch idiots. "time to heal" though, I just don't get that. Life is way harder than some neo nazi march, I mean maybe that's other peoples big deal in life but to me it's water under the bridge because life is way harder than that. I mean think about it, people are still concerned over this neo nazi rally meanwhile there are people out there in the world starving and dying of diseases, getting killed for nothing, stoned to death, etc. I am sorry but my view is always larger than just america. This shit is nothing to me, we have it great in America, I haven't heard one person be like yeah that rally was dope.
it's no disrespect trust me, I am young, I still have a lot to learn, I am just saying at least I am kinda in the middle where I am part retarded still and part knowledgeable
Trump is absolutely correct in pardoning the Sheriff. The judge wouldn't even give the Sheriff a jury trial. The charges were totally bogus anyway. http://www.azcentral.com/story/news...joe-arpaio-criminal-contempt-trial/418051001/
Has the US charged Assange with anything? Not sure what we would pardon him for. If Snowden feels he deserves a pardon he needs to come back to the United States and face his charges in court.
They would lock snowden up. I don't know if the US has but I know they can pardon Assange. They pardoned manning which was weird but not snowden or assange. Doesn't make sense
came across this tweet. looked it up real quick In 1983 Rich and partner Pincus Green were indicted on 65 criminal counts, including income tax evasion, wire fraud, racketeering, and trading with Iran during the oil embargo (at a time when Iranian revolutionaries were still holding American citizens hostage).[7][17] The charges would have led to a sentence of more than 300 years in prison had Rich been convicted on all counts.[17] The indictment was filed by then-U.S. Federal Prosecutor (and future mayor of New York City) Rudolph Giuliani. At the time it was the biggest tax evasion case in U.S. history On January 20, 2001, hours before leaving office, U.S. President Bill Clinton granted Rich a highly controversial presidential pardon. Several of Clinton's strongest supporters distanced themselves from the decision.[23] Former President Jimmy Carter, a fellow Democrat, said, "I don't think there is any doubt that some of the factors in his pardon were attributable to his large gifts. In my opinion, that was disgraceful."[24] Clinton himself later expressed regret for issuing the pardon, saying that "it wasn't worth the damage to my reputation." Clinton's critics alleged that Rich's pardon had been bought, as Denise Rich had given more than $1 million[25] to Clinton's political party (the Democratic Party), including more than $100,000 to the Senate campaign of the president's wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and $450,000 to the Clinton Library foundation during Clinton's time in office. sooo where do we draw the line here? like I said man, these politicians....
Manning did time. Paid at least some price for the crime convicted of. I like Snowden and support what he did but he knew it was wrong. Sometimes you have to pay a price for your beliefs. Muhammed Ali went to prison for his beliefs. He had the money and ability to leave the country. Morally right and legally right are not always the same thing.
