Jurassic Park Appreciation Thread

When it gets down to it, my favorite movie of all-time. When I was a kid, Jurassic Park was my obsession, it got me into dinosaurs and nature. I bought all the action figures. I have the largest collection of Jurassic Park action figures known. (That is on the internet). there making another oneI like the first movie alot, but Jurrasic Park III sucked.The graphics are amazing, and even to this day they look real. Ironicly, as the series went on, the worse the graphics got.

 

I think thats because they tried to pull off more and more complicated things, in the first movie everything we simple, but in the third one everything was so much more difficult...I think they all look very realistic.

 

Wow that's some collection. I still have this Lost World Tyco Racing Track in my room lol, it's collecting dust. My friend is a huge Jurassic Park fan, used to replay that VHS at his house all the time. I thought the film was one of a kind at it's time and a classic now. The sequels aren't bad either, I liked Jurassic Park III because it finally introduced the flying behomeths! I think the 4th one is in development hell.

In film, we learned that in sequels, the budget gets alot lower because they already know people will come to see it...so they dont spend as much money trying to capture the audience.

Jurassic Park sucks, I mean who even cares about dinosaurs. They're all dead already anyway. Why beat a dead horse?

 

Funnily enough, I just watched the first film yesterday. Real fun watch.

Yeah, not bad. I liked them when I was little I guess. Remember the 3rd from 01 I believe. At the end I think they were flying away, that girl said I dare them to come back to Edmond Oklahoma, ironic. Cause thats where I go to school now
