This is why players should not have any hand in personnel decisions...

Not exactly. He said when asked, if he could add one former Blazer in their prime to the current roster, who would it be. He said prime Brandon Roy. Not to be confused with broken Brandon Roy, which is who you'd get if you were to "bring back" Brandon Roy.

    IOW: Fake News

Did you guys read the tweet? He was asked what former Blazer IN HIS PRIME would he like to play with. So he chose prime Roy. Not a bad answer.

Still means he doesn't want to play with McCollum. That's the direct consequence of bringing on board a prime Brandon Roy.

That's still a weird answer. The question was about adding the player to the current Blazers roster, so why not chose a SF or a PF ?

Bonzi Wells would have been the best troll answer, IMO.

Roy would probably play SF. We'd be undersized, but imagine:

    Lillard
    CJ
    Roy
    Anyone
    Nurkic

    That's be nasty!

Prime Pippen is the only answer.

    or Walton.

Ha IDK about that. I think the only answer would be prime Sabonis.

Roy would make a hell of a small ball power forward. Probably what Lillard was thinking.

    Lillard
    McCollum
    Harkless
    Roy
    Nurkic

As over rated as I think he is, sheed would be an awesome addition to the current roster.

Pippen and Sabonis didn't play for the Blazers in their respective primes. Walton's was so short, but then so was Roy's, so I guess I'll give you that.
