...he has approximately 15 more months +/- and then it's over! There will be no more excuses after next year's team of seniors takes the field :dunno:

I don't mind big cities I just personally think Portland is extremely subpar. It may have a lot to offer for others but for me it's boring. There is some good food though, I will give it that.

7 turnovers didn't help but they did get a win

I've only been to two "big" cities, but it's definitely better than Sacramento.

That's like saying "well, the hooker gave me crabs... but at least it's not the clap"

Sacramento blows, I hated stopping there when we went to visit family in Modesto/Tracy

    Sacramento smells like cow paddies.

I must admit I have been a little surprised by the change in perception of Portland. People I would run into used to rave about Portland when they found out I was from there. They could not understand why I left. They loved to visit for a variety of reasons.

And now in the last two years all they talk about is how aggressive the homeless are in the downtown area. I have no idea if they are right or wrong, just that the perception has changed dramatically in a short time and many have said they have no desire to go back.
Sucks if your livelihood depends on tourism.

Groups like antifa and the Trump people rampaging through the streets constantly will lower the perception.
