..yup, but isn't it strange how many people point to YS as being a "band box"?...the "short RF porch" is only short in extreme RF...the power alleys as well as the LF and the CF walls are still a pretty good poke. ...people sometimes forget that the dimensions of the new YS are essentially the same as the old YS when it was replaced.
Yankees look like they will be two back of Boston in the loss column after tonight and three ahead of Minnesota for the top WC spot. It's amazing how things can change after that awful Cleveland series.
If tif the Yankee starters can hold their own, team has a shot at the #1 spot in the AL Eastern Division. To say the least, it has been a surprising season. Much to be pleased about.
^^^^ this... now if the Yanx bullpen could instill a bit of confidence, in lieu of encouraging 'nail biters' to become beavers. One would think with our BP, they'd hand out packs of rolaids once the 'closers' take over.....kind'a surprised those new sports bars don't make a mint or rolaids smoothie. Makes me really miss and respect Mo', mr. consistent; even tho' superman blew a game here and there, but not everywhere... Mo' spoiled us all... ~!~
