Yes. And when questioned by a journalist who was trying to help her explain why she flipped on so many things so recently she got pissed at the reporter. She acted like she was LEADING the Democrats to the left for all of those years. Ha fucking ha!
Trump didn't campaign in California. Everywhere else he campaigned in Democrat states, he won or did really well. How do you think he'd have done if he campaigned in California? Certainly enough to gain 3M votes, if not more. Just like he did in Minnesota and Wisconsin and PA and ...
? She was centrist all along. She never swerved left except to battle Bernie a bit (and that wasn't a very convincing swerve, since she is in fact a moderate). As for "super predators", yeah, she said that once, ~25 years ago. It was a stupid thing to say, but everybody says something stupid at some point. Gay marriage: yes, she was slow to come around on that. But so was the rest of the country, so that's consistent with her being a centrist. barfo
It's easy. Abortion is a constitutional right. There are HIPPA laws. Medical history is private. Even to politicians ect. I remember John McCain saying, "I don't want to put a bureaucrat between you and your doctor". When you outlaw abortion that's exactly what's being done. A bureaucrat is being put between a patient and doctor. Furthermore, we aren't trusting women to make a decision with their own bodies. Bottom line: Medical procedures are private and anti-abortionists try to make public what is supposed to be kept private BY LAW. Like I said, if a man's dick goes limp at 50, you don't see liberals talking about it nor trying to prevent him from getting his dick meds even tho his limp biscuit is what "God intended". It's PRIVATE.
I think it's likely he would have gained _some_ voters if he advertised here (in CA). Where he did advertise (and visit), he overachieved expectations, no?
Nope. I don't think so at all. He didn't campaign there for a reason and that's why. Conversely, if HilLiar would have campaigned in Wisconsin, I think she would've done way better. They were mad and voted against her because she didn't come.
You want it both ways. Where Trump campaigned, he did better than expected, especially in Democrat states (states Obama won). His strategy didn't require winning votes in California, nor spending money on gaining a few million votes where he was likely to lose. Did Clinton win a republican state (voted for Romney)? In my neighborhood (in California), there were a lot of Hiliar signs. But there were about 2:1 Trump signs, too. When the smear campaign was launched against him (his remarks about groping women), a lot of those Trump signs had the "Trump" blocked out with duct tape so they read "Pence." I knew something was up by this, but I didn't expect Trump would win. What a glorious night it was to see her lose.
Interesting that you think that was a smear campaign, given that it was a tape of Trump himself talking. barfo
The man appeared on the Howard Stern show. For a clown, you don't realize when someone's joking. It was a smear because NBC sat on it until they thought it would do the most damage to his campaign. If it were actual news, why wait?
She said something stupid. He said something stupid. Pointing out such things isn't a 'smear campaign'. barfo
So what? You were joking when you said it was a smear campaign? Ok. I can't answer for NBC, I'm not in charge of them. I do not know whether they sat on it or not. If it's the case that the Trump people can forget about meeting Russians because they had so many meetings a year ago, then it's surely the case that NBC can forget about a tape from more than a decade ago. They make a lot of videotape. barfo
http://www.politico.com/magazine/st...e-nbc-news-access-hollywood-billy-bush-214344 Why Did NBC News Sit on the Trump Tape for So Long? Stories get held at every news organization, but NBC doesn’t look good here, and no amount of finessing will make them look any prettier.
This is kinda important because NBC claims they sat on the tape for about a week. http://www.tmz.com/2016/10/11/donald-trump-tape-billy-bush-nbc-access-staff-knew/ DONALD TRUMP NBC STAFF & 'ACCESS' BRASS KNEW ABOUT Outtakes Months Ago People at NBC knew about Donald Trump's crude convo with Billy Bush for at least 2 months ... because Billy was bragging about it back then. TMZ has confirmed ... Billy was telling NBC staffers in Rio about the tape back in early August, when he was still working for "Access Hollywood." We're told word circulated because Billy made it clear Trump was trash-talking Nancy O'Dell. NBC News says it didn't know about the outtakes until a week ago Monday, but the word around the network is people knew, including executives at 'Access,' which is an NBC property. We're told those executives had full knowledge of Billy's comments on the tape... which creates a potential problem if NBC is serious about firing him.
