Because jokes are good. Honestly, it seems like every time an alt-right discussion comes up, you are in super defensive mode. This happens with you daily. I personally love terrible and offensive jokes, but they have to be used intelligently. Of course Pepe is just a dumb drawing of a frog, but it has been used by a certain type of people and is now associated with that. It is what it is.

 

it's associated with what you want it to be. To me it was never that, I was using pepe the frog texting to friends and all that before Hillary came out and said it was a symbol. I am only defensive because you types like to take words and make them be so much more. Like cuck. So many people use that word, you can't just put it in a box with alt right people. It's dangerous. Sitting there labeling people this and that for using a certain word or meme is dangerous and does nothing but add fuel to the fire of conversation. There is nothing logical about it, so yeah when people throw words around like fascist or racist, etc when it shouldn't be use, it only waters down the meaning of real fascists and racists. Whatever I guess go say it to everybody if you want but it does nothing but shut down any sort of positive interaction

Can you not understand symbolism? It was a dumb frog drawing, but now represents something else, something terrible. It is not the fault of the creator of Pepe. It has become a symbol. yeah she did, she was the first one to say it's a white supremacy symbol, people took it and ran with it once the media started in on it. It is what you want it to be I guess. Yeah there are pepe memes that are made that are bad but a majority isn't and is actually used for humor. It's some bullshit logic to put your faith in an entertainer and have them create your belief system. While Pepe started as nothing, it ended up representing something. And when people see it, they naturally think of a certain type of person.

 

it's bad man, these types of people just spread this and others believe it, it gives no meaning to actual racists,fascists, etc. I blew up earlier and shouldn't have but this is why I keep my ass out of portland. A couple people are telling me I am defending alt right because of a frog meme. That's how crazy it is. I shouldn't of blown up though, should of went with it and just trolled because it's ridiculous. The world is getting real weird, it's like when I saw that berkeley ben shapiro thing. Ben shapiro isn't threatening at all, he has different opinions and it's people choice to go to that event or not. We are fucked, we just are, I get so furious at these people because it's truly idiotic.
