Smh.
1st off, before bringing up a blasphemous idea, bring up a hypothetical that could actually be a possibility. What team has a star SF available who would trade them for Dame?
2nd, you want to trade away the face of the franchise, who's a great leader, a guy who the city loves and who loves the city back, and who would likely bit be and to net an equal return, just to slide CJ over to his less natural position because the most meaningful thing in all of this would be to essentially downgrade SG and upgrade SF?
Having a group of stars at very specific positions doesn't matter. What matters is if that talent is cohesive and complimentary to each usher and the rest of the roster. People focus too much on rigid titles called "positions", and not enough on ability-based cohesion.
How does CJs and Dames adjusts nut compliment each other? Both are just as good off the ball as they are on the ball. CJ is one of the best spot shooters in the league.
What's the difference between a score first PG and SF, compared to a score first PG and SG? Curry and Durant are as good at playing off the ball as Dame and CJ, so how is it that Dame and CJ don't compliment each other? "Positional spreading of talent" isn't a valid answer.
