Since Joe doesn't seem to get the concept of arranging your rotation for down the line match ups it could be whoever is next in the rotation. To me in this order it should be seve, tanaka and grey

i'm thinking Garcia, you know Joe is loyal to his boys, and he has to be feeling pretty bad about taking him out the other day with an out left for the opportunity for win, LOL...

nahhhhhh i'm betting on tanaka, if he goes with chubby boy, i will go on hunger strike

I think that would be a big mistake, but then again it's all up to the Binder, Garcia sucks.

...Seve, Gray, Tank...and I cannot imagine the rotation being any other way in the PS.

..and fwiw, I think Girardi has done a good job with the starting rotation as well as the BP...but when you get right down to it, it does not matter what pitcher the manager taps on the shoulder if they fail to do their job.

...Jay Bell has been a minor league manager for less than a year...I don't believe he has the experience necessary to manage the Yanx.

Jay came out of a top ranked high school, he went through the minor league system, won a ring in the show... Has already been recognized as a coach professionally.... Jay is a bright guy , nice guy, saved my Azz, he's ready!

...I'm aware of his achievements but the guy he replaced won the same award and he hasn't coached in MLB either.

...yeah, Bell is a nice guy, won a ring, coached in the minors, etc., but so are a lot of people...but that does not qualify them to manage the Yanx...sorry, I just don't see the rationale.

    ^^^^ afkngmen.....

Yanx aren't the micky mouse kind of team to let a novice run the ship, .... regardless of his accomplishments at a lower level as a Coach, WBC, Olympics, Reds bench coach, and Mgr of the Year with the Minors-Yanx Tampa.... credentials are lacking, or maybe my expectations or criteria for being a Yanx Skipper are much higher than your expecations..... just an observation; don't take it personally....!!!

if obama could become president of the greatest country in the world with very little experience as a politician, then jay could become coach of the greatest franchise in history.

i think you are over thinking this, jay has over 40 years experience in the game of baseball, at all levels, this is not rocket science . if that doesn't qualify him, then nobody is!

girardi , how long out of retirement, marlins head coach?

not comparing at all, just an example of the fact there is NO rationale in anything!
