Betances is a train wreck. A real challenge to throw a convenient or well placed strike. Forget well placed, it's all he can do to get it over the fkng plate... no finesse in train wrecks, no control, Bedances (with wolves), or shit in bed....
Sorry ass Orioles, one on, two out, pitcher walks bases loaded, Beninteni delivers with a base knock.
Not surprised. Yankees pounded O's pitching. Sox doing the same. O's just like sharing their ineptitude!
...not going to give up on winning the division till the last game of the regular season...hoping the Astros and Indians stay fairly close for best record and home field advantage. That way, the Astros will be less inclined to rest their starters as they play the Sox for 4 games to finish the regular season.
...as it stands right now, Sale would face Keuchel for the last game of the regular season which could also end up helping the Yanx...that would mean the Yanx would be less likely to have to face either of those pitchers twice in an opening series. fwiw, Keuchel is the LHer that I somehow confused with Kluber a couple of weeks ago.
The stinking Blue Jays will have a say in the division race a fly in the ointment. Boston draws the Reds for 3. then Toronto whom they've owned prior to the Houston Series. With a current record at 7-6 the Yankees will have to do a major turn around on the Toronto. A division win is possible if the Yankees take care of their business and get a smidgen of help. My dream would be to see Boston fall to top wild card and get their asses kicked in a one game playoff with Price fucking up his relief appearance.
