That's a wrap guys, Yankees win and now I have to tune in to ESPN at 7 pm and hope the Pink Hatters lose.

Todays game was one of those "killer instinct" wins. Yankees down, got up, got even, then stomped ass to insure a come back from the opponent would not happen.

September is when you want to get everything clicking. Ten more games to go in what has been a very fun regular season.

Felt really bod when that foul ball went into the stands hitting that toddler. Sure she will make a good recovery, felt sorry for Frazier as well, he damn sure did not want any thing like that to happen. Hope the best is yet to come for all.

All they can really say because of the laws is that the child was hit in the face. Girardi said they were told she will be alright.

Loved the way the kids led the comeback. Sounds strange since the final was 11-3........but the good guys
we're down 0 to 3 and then they just came on like gang busters!

Now, hoping Sale has an off game.......and the O's can salvage one win at home against
    the pink hatters!

    ...that's great news.

...someone that young obviously does not know any better, but I'd be willing to bet that her parents were net even paying attention to the game...just about any time the cameras pan into the crowd about half of the people are on their freaking cell phones talking or texting...it's un-nerving as hell to me...I mean why even come to the game?

...sorry if my rant seems harsh...just a pet peeve of mine.

No Ron you are absolutely right, we always get good seats and that's all you see are the heads down staring at the phone instead of watching the game. Why bother spending the money to go if you are not going to watch it.

glad to hear it wasn't just me fed up with the 2 dorks.

Suckliffe, I swear that man gets on my nerves as fast as Harold Reynolds, and others. Suckliffe's become one pompous arrogant ass....~!~ Can't stand to hear the man talk, utter garbage..... He needs no fan club, as he IS his biggest fan...

In my opinion it's not a seating area where a toddler belongs. It's scary and dangerous enough for an adult when on an angle a ball comes screaming into the stands.

^^^^ bullseye, too many kids in hot zones with little to no supervision. Sad to see this 2 yr old hit. Parental supervision is lacking big time in this day and age, texting out of control....

when I've seen elderly peeps hit upside the head, often with broken flying bats, I wonder why they sit in hot zones, and don't bother to bring a glove, lol. But then elders know better, and youngsters with kids need to get a clue, learn how it is to parent, fast....put the cell phones away.

Unless one's going to tune in to the games broadcast with an ear plug or plugs, with cell in pocket not in hand. No distractions there. Hell up 'til not that long ago, I always took my glove with me to a game, no matter where I sat, hot zones more often than not.....

a cell phone in the pockets worth more than two in each hand....doh-

I wouldn't be surprised at all. I expected to see negligent parents, and the only thing close to time of impact I can see is this (video in link below), not real clear. Bet were going to see a lawsuit over this indeed, and they'll add screens down the line, ....

Looks like HIPPA won't allow anything right now, not 'til a suit is filed ya' watch, just like ya' called it 59-

...Mess, aside from those rocket foul balls into the stands, what really scares me is the broken bats that become spinning spears going into the crowd.

^^^^ that's what I've thought for years now. Flying splintered spears, it's bad enough the players have to dodge darts.

Fans often these days just don't seem tuned into games like days of yore...distracted, playing with cell phones, bullshitting, or flat out irritating those who go to see a fkng Baseball Game....

Yet at the speeds of flying bats, and the eccentric flight paths, someone is going to get one in the face, chest, neck, I can utterly see this visceral, and it isn't pretty....
