Why do we love this game?We love this game because of the intense passion of rivalries - Bird and Magic revolutionizing the game with their skills and their desire to win. Jordan and the Pistons battling for half a decade - the idol vs the bad boys. We love this game because of the beauty of it - The classic image of Dr. J hanging in the air - his afro rising higher than he did. We love this game because of classic moments - Jordan crossing over and launching a 15 footer to secure the championship over the Jazz. Larry Bird and Dominique Wilkins shooting it out for 12 minutes - each unstoppable. We love this game because of history - Wilt Chamberlin scoring 100 points with no media following the game. Magic Johnson winning the MVP of the all-star game right before he stepped down from his stardom to fight Stardom. We love this game beacuse of our heroes - Willis Reed hobbling on to the court to help inspire his teamates to victory in the playoffs. Why else do we love this game? Continue the list.
I don't know PFF, but that coming from you just comes off as phony in my opinion.Right now, I don't love this game. It's just there, to me, the NBA right now is like an ex-girlfriend that you still talk to once and a while. There's just not much for me to get excited about anymore. My teams been average for a long time, there are too many things I don't like about the league and my organization that for me make me not watch as much as I used to.
How would you even know about Bird, Magic, Jordan and the Pistons?Aren't you like 13?I love this game becuase every night everybody leaves it all out on the court and players like Kobe Bryant do something new and exciting every night..and I love this game because your team can disappoint you but you'll still watch them night in and night out
I love this game because it can be exciting, you can shine as a individual, yet it still is a team game. Slamdunks are the most enteraining aspect in sports IMO, and it is mainly based on emotion and determination.
I love the game because you feel apart of the team. I know when I watch Spurs games, or I talk about the Spurs, I always use the word "we". I just feel like they are my team and we are in it together. I just have a passion to play and watch games. Its the best sport ever invented...
Baby Kareem and Old Oscar Robertson leading the expansion Bucks to a championship. Wilt Chamberlain leading the league in assists per game, and finally becoming the ultimate player. Vince Carter dunking over a 7 foot 2 player. Hakeem Olajuwon embarrassing the regular season MVP David Robinson in the playoffs. The Celtics proving that a great team will always beat a great player. Steve Nash redefining the game to make it more efficient, and exciting. Charles Barkley playing Center at 6 feet 4. Magic Johnson playing Center in game 7 to lead the Lakers to his first of 5 titles, as a rookie. Michael Jordan scoring 40+ pts as a 40 yr old. The Playoffs are weak though. NHL playoffs and March Madness are much better.

I love this game cause its exciting to watch. You get to live and share the moments with other fans. When your favourite team starts winning you start get happy. Its a very emotional game and things can happen that excite the crowd. Example would be fights, dunks and crossovers. You also get to see many of the worlds best players play together in one big league.
I love this game because there are teams out there like the Phenox Suns that can really entertain a crowd. I love that Kobe Bryant goes out there every game and gives it his best to try to get the Lakers back where they use to be. I love and respect how much hard word Avery Johnson works to get Dallas to be as good as they are. I love how much David Stern thinks he's a good commish even though the truth is its time for him to step down. But in all serous the main reason I love this game is the same as its always been since I started watching back when I was a kid. I just plain out love Basketball. I love to watch it, I love to play it and I love to play the video games. Basketball has always been my favorite sport and it always will.
basketball is pure entertainment...I love watching the amazing things these players can do, it makes you want to call your friends and say "did u see that!!!" I love repping my team and try to support them anyway I canI just found this cell phone holder that looks like an authentic basketball, its pretty cool--> http://www.c2cellinc.com/cgi-bin/commerce....;keywords=Sport

Yeah, Ballerman knows his sh*t. When I refer to the Wiz I say "we". will "we" make the ECF. Will "we" go on a win streak. It gives you an emotional connection that stays with u.
