Wouldn't "least bad" be more appropriate? Basically Aminu is our only player you could indubitably describe as a good defender. Collins should be, but KAT was an amazing defender in college and has pretty much sucked in the pros.
Aminu Nurk Turner Harkless I like Collins but he hasn't played a game yet. Best defensive lineup? Dame, Turner, Harkless, Aminu, Nurk Lillard gets too much shit for his defense. CJ is way worse.
good post, but "hasn't played a game yet" is a lazy narrative. Everyone knew LeBron, Shaq, AD, ... would be really good before they played a game.

Those guys were transcendent talents, who had NBA bodies as rookies. I wouldn't use them as a barometer. There's usually an adjustment period.
