    A buddy of mine was a military advisor to the Kingdom. This is one of his anecdotes:

    "If they all wear seat-belts, they can get more 'revenge' on the men than EVER imagined!!
    (Saudi men don't wear seat-belts.)
    True story: working in Riyadh, driving around the Ring Road. Saudi 'friend' gets in car.
    I say, "buckle up."
    Him: "I hate seatbelts. Allah determines if we will live or die." Oh.

    So I drive forward a half mile and hit the brakes hard. He hits the dashboard.
    Me: "Allah will determine when you live or die. I will determine when I hit the brakes. You will buckle up if you want to ride with me."
    Scandal resulted....
    If Saudi women wear seat-belts, and decide to crash into men they don't like...Ma'ash'allah!!"
