Kobe Bryant became just the 3rd player in NBA history to score back-to-back 50 plus point games. Allen Iverson in 2003 and Antwan Jamison in 2000 were the other 2. Kobe will have a chance to become the first player in NBA history to score 50 plus points on back-to-back-to-back games on Thursday in Memphis.
I am just happy we were able to win 2 games in a row. Let's make it a streak! Kobe, make history against Memphis!
Yeah I was having a terrible day. Came home hoping the Lakers would cheer me up. And the day got worse. lol

Yeah dude, seeing as how Wilt averaged 50 points a game, I'd expect him to at least get two in a row a couple times.
This is just like the time people thought Kobe had the record for consecutive points against an opponent when he had 111 against the Raptors.

And look at him as of late...He has been playing pretty damn well. I dont know if Kobe will get 50+, but I am hopeful. The most important thing is that they win the game...It just wont hurt if Kobe goes for 50+. hahah

All he needs is the same drive like he had vs Minnesota and Memphis will be a non-factor.I'm back to being really excited about this. Whee!

Im sure Wilt Chamberlain has done that before. He AVERAGED 50 ppg one year for god sakes....Anyway, congrats Kobe. He's just putting on a show. He's averaged 45 ppg this past week. I wonder how many players have done that....
Kobe is a scoring monster. Watched some highlights of yesterdays game. And it seemed pretty tight until near the end. It looks like its time for Kobe to shine again like last year. He can light it up any time he wants.
lol. Antwam Jaminson? He'd be the last person I'd guess under this category. But yeah, Kobe's been playing some of the best basketball I've ever seen recentley.
