The name, Mandalay Bay has been bugging me all day. Finally figured it out, a neat little Bay I anchored in about a week around 38 years ago.
Not quite the same name but close, on the south side of Lani HA.

Are we doing ok, or are we fighting a million-acre wildfire?

And just to inject a little politics, you are aware that your boy Trump has been trying, repeatedly, to cut mental health funding?

I think it depends on a couple things, where you buy and how you buy. Different states or counties are easier or more difficult.

However, how you buy, or more precisely who you buy from makes a huge difference. You can buy and sell from citizen to citizen without any of the constraints you are talking about, and certainly without having to have your information turned over to the government (as far as we know). A few years back I was looking on armslist online and saw a good price on an HK 9mm. I called the number and he had me meet him at his house to buy the gun. I got there, paid him ~500 for an HK USP 9 in great condition with several magazines, holsters and some rounds thrown in. After the purchase he asked if I was interested in any of his other guns. I went into his garage where his gun safes were. 8 safes filled to the brim with what had to be several hundred guns and he said everything but his daddies sidearm from some war was for sale. I left with my HK and it felt so strange and bothersome that I took it to the police just to make sure it wasn't stolen or to make sure I didn't do anything illegal buying from that guy. They ran the serial numbers and told me that it all looked fine to them. They also invited me to go shooting with them at the range on 82nd and I had an awesome time.

Nope. Why should it be harder for me to own a gun when not a single criminal would jump through these hoops you speak of?

count me as a gun owner who would welcome more oversight and especially more requirements for those who want to own, like hours in a range and safety classes and requirements to have adequate gun safes for guns a person owns.

More likely scanners everywhere, invasive privacy violations and facial recognition scanners in public/private spaces to track you.

That will all come as a "compromise" to gun control.

That's not true. If you try to become a black person, like that one chick, they accuse you of cultural appropriation.

    This is very violent video.

People just stood there. They didn't move. I can't believe it.

It reminds me of footage of troops being strafed in WWII.
