Dude, how you feel about the OT Forum now? That's how I felt about the OT Forum through the entire Obama Administration. You conservatives complained about EVERYTHING for EIGHT YEARS! Now we liberals are having our turn to complain about every little thing the president does. So yeah, the OT forum has always been mostly trash; it's just my kind of trash now instead of your kind of trash Niiiiice
I can't personally speak for the whole 8 years Obama was in office, since I got here in late 2014. But from what I remember, it was HARDLY on the level of hate, what Conservatives I saw, that Liberals have expressed towards Trump. Fuck, you guys REALLY don't like that guy! I can say that I complained here and there about Obama, but I never HATED the guy like you guys do Trump. I despised him; I thought he was elitist, incredibly condescending, and that he ignored most of the population. But I didn't HATE the guy. Speaking only for myself, I don't obsess over political candidates (that's not an insult directed at anyone). I don't lose sleep over them. I vote, and then I keep an eye on them. If they do something I don't like, I might complain about them, but I don't make a thread every day about that person on a forum. I can't say that I've seen the same thing from Liberals in OT....there's about 15 threads a week about Trump. Again, that's speaking only for myself. I can't speak for any other Conservative-minded person in OT. I know Denny bumps heads about Trump with a lot of you guys, but I don't pay attention beyond that. If I was gonna complain about a Liberal or a Democrat politician, chances are likely that I'd do it over on GlockTalk. Been a member there since 2004. But even they have their fair share of nutjobs over there. Not many, but enough to be concerning.
Sorry, this probably should get its own thread in OT (Sly, maybe split off this conversation? Or just erase it tomorrow; that's fine too) A lot of us are one-issue voters... mine is "having all the same rights as a white man in the United States". Trump's not really about that.
No need to split it off....I don't have a huge interest in taking this further. Definitely agree with you on the "one-issue voter" part. Respectfully disagree with you about the rest....but again, not enough to take this further, so let's just agree to disagree.
Yeah, if Meyers is the answer you're asking the wrong question. Similarly, I was high on Crabbe until someone pointed out to me that the only reason our wins correlated with his shot count was because it meant the team was so bad Crabbe was being left wide open. Even cursory defense interrupted his shot. Meyers is (was?) the same way; "great" shot selection can be a hindrance.
When the 19yr Old out plays you in his first NBA game. Please, for the Love Of $^%, Let that game be the end of meyers. . .I yelled at him more than the entire OKC game today. And now I feel like the girl who got raped, and has to talk about it, in front of the entire graduating class, while being live streamed to the local Church(s) On a the plus side. not only is biggie a beast, but collins has some grate D. They looked great on the court together tonight. typical rookie stuff yeah. all and all. Im way happy. Fkn Nards. Bronze.
Meyers is not an NBA caliber player. Neither is Pat C. Olshey is lucky Nurkic saved his job. Stick to soap operas Neil.
So Meyers played decent defense tonight and had 9 and 3 in 13 minutes or about 26 and 8.5 per 36... yeah he was trash.
He did fine. Hardly the problem tonight. If he plays like that consistently he'll be a solid backup center, and someone we shouldn't have trouble moving if need be.
This is what i am thinking. Meyers played well enough. I also think the best situation for all involved would be for him to play well enough to be traded. He needs a fresh start somewhere else.
He also played solid positional defense in the first half, consistently challenged shots at the rim, and was rarely out of position. Unsurprisingly, he didn't fare well in the 4th when the game devolved into rat ball. No, stats don't tell the whole story, but they support an objective evaluation of his performance last night.
