Just horrible news to wake up to. It's sad times we live in right now. The worst mass shooting in our history.
...I read that he was a Vegas local...and the SWAT team found him in his room. ...ISIS takes claim for everything whether they were actually responsible or not.
...what I'll never understand is if someone is so unhappy with their life, why not just kill themselves instead of taking out innocent people?...needless to say, there are a lot of fucked up people in this world.
What a Jackass!. He could have wasted his ammo on a patch of Cacti in the vast Nevada desert and then shoot himself. I feel sorry for his brother who interviewed with the media. He was totally shocked like an asteroid belt and he mentioned his 91 year old mother will hear of this event. Besides dissing his family, he ended up worthless when the swat teams blasted into the room. News like this affirms the North Korean, Chinese and Russians that we have an out of control country.
All First Responders to that event were praised to the skies for their prompt/efficient reactions . Ever notice that those who protest "Police Brutality" never show up at these type of events.
Watching this fiasco all unfold from the moment the news broke, until early in the am, .... by midnight, the TV camera crews of every known news station, were randomly interviewing any one who had come out of the venue; out from behind the blockades. Rumours were flying worse than bat shit, rumours there might be several gun men, in several locations.... Was kind of surprised some loco didn't say "It's OJ", he's out of prison, is making his home in Vegas, and He went totally nuts..... News spread around the entire Strip, a 2nd shooter or more might be loose. Casino's all down the Strip had people laying on the floors. Rumours spread like wildfire.... I was literally amazed no locos were interviewed, (that weren't even present, as in Ferguson) - looking for camera time, and spreading of agendas....
Very sad. Even sadder is that certain elements will try to use this even as a means to divide us further rather than uniting us.
I was in AAA Auto Club Insurance yesterday. Noticed half the group of employees wearing a green ribbon, the other half no ribbons.... those without ribbons were imported for the week, from other AAA offices, in distant cities; to work the local office. The local office here lost a young lady, in her early 30's, who had been shot & killed by this fkng loco gunman. Those who were wearing ribbons, had gloomy faces, and lost a family member.... A family of co-workers. A 2nd gal was also killed, a teacher here in town.... where was this clown during Ferguson.....???
that's the part that never makes sense to me. the loss and injury of 1 innocent person effects numerous others. With as many present from all over the nation, this tragedy will touch and hit towns all over the states. why any person shoots upon a crowd like this one, wasn't cuz he couldn't get any sleep. Planned, pre-mediated and for what, why, we may never know. Not a 'war on terror' from the outside in, not religous, racially or politically motivated. (?) Did this nut job just hate Country pop music?? 3 locals shot from this area. Of those: 2 dead young women, (wives, daughters, sisters, friends, w/one a mother of 2). 1 survivor who will never be able to use his arm again, yet lives; still in critical care.
