But I don't think he will. MM gets a lot of shit on here, but he calls it like he sees it. We might just lose this opener now. Not having our 2nd best player, playing on the road opening night at an arena we haven't had a ton of success at. MM will probably tell you himself that this game will be tough.
It’s fine, doesn’t mean I can’t complain about it. As I said I know the rules are rules but at the same time knowing if one of those players happen to be playing on TNT on opening night, a star, it doesn’t happen. It defeats the purpose of a rule if there is an exception.
When the rule was created, it was (iirc) in response to the Malice at the Palace. I think now the rule needs to be tweaked a bit (and not because CJ got dinged here). There has to be a sense of logic behind stuff.
It wasn’t televised so it doesn’t count? Is this like if a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it does it make a sound?
The rule needed to be tweaked 10 years ago when it cost the Suns a playoff series after Amare Stoudemire got suspended (but Duncan didn't).
It should be if you leave the bench and enter the fray.. That could mean holding a teammate back or going at other guys on the court. Taking two steps off the bench, then walking back to it, without doing anything, shouldn't be a fucking suspension. Retarded.
He's right though. You really think the NBA would get rid of THAT 1-on-1 opening night matchup? Over something like that? But because it's CJ McCollum of the Portland Trail Blazers getting suspended against the lowly Pheonix Suns, who cares?
It a rule CJ knows it and i know what other are saying about how they ignore things for the stars like kicking other players in the nuts without any punishment.
And to think...... Jinx and the reep guy didn't even get the chance to read it. And who says I don't bring any content?
