Their homer nonsense is reaching an absurd level. It's a Dolan thing since announcers aren't allowed to tell it like it is. Their praising Crosby instead of saying it was an awful goal.

Yeah, can't really blame them because they would be fired if they got critical. But it is kind of disgusting Hank allows a goal from behind the net and not a peep. And then nothing about McDonagh's joke play, which was after his terrible pass that led to an icing. Funny stuff really. Time is running out quickly for this team to get their sh*t together. Sad part is I actually think this teams biggest issue will be in goal once everyone gets going.

And yes that was double laughable 717. Praising Crosby...FOR WHAT...putting a puck off a goalie into the net from behind the net...really...wow what an amazing play. Come on now. Angered me. Don't be critical because you'll lose your job, but to cover that you act like it was some great play by Crosby...jesus.

Guess coming back for a point is a small victory but not much. They need 5-6 points in the next week.

There are no words to show my disdain for this organization.
The Rangers belong in last place.

I agree about Lundqvist. He has been the backbone and had a great career but it's just too many bad goals allowed now. You can tell me the other team has perfect shots at the start of every single game. Yet more often then not you see two goals on the first four shots of the game. Tonight that tying goal is just ridiculous when you're in desperate need of a win. I have no idea what he's doing on that play to allow that puck to get into the net.

I'm more upset with McDonagh for that boneheaded giveaway.

It was awful but they were losing this game anyway. You just cannot allow a tying goal like that if you're Lundqvist.

Yeah that was bad, but i guess give Crosby credit too for making that attempt. Guess Lundqvist was peeking at who was in front.

Rangers should be horsewhipped for letting Shesterkin sign a 3 year contract with his KHL team. Lundqvist is barely average at this point.

Can Hank ever just say it was an awful goal and on me 100%, I take full responsibility. He dances around it by saying things like you saw it, and then puck luck and some other BS. Just say flat out please Hank it was an awful goal to allow and I take full responsibility...PLEASE.

Look, Hank has been a god to this organization for 10 + years. The only reason we won many many games throughout the years. The biggest reason by miles that we made the long runs we did. And Sather let the guy down big time by giving him zero scoring year after year. So we need to keep sight of that and understand what he has meant to this organization for a long time.

With that said today in the now he is what he is. He is not a top level goalie anymore. He is still very good, for the most part, overall, but night in and night out he is no longer in that upper level. He is now a solid goalie, one that you can win with, but not one that will carry you on his shoulders. Issue is this team is mostly built for him to be the latter. I say mostly built that way because I do think we have talent on D and upfront, more than we have had in a little while I think, but we are lacking another top 9 C to round it out. And Hank also has an 8.5 mill cap hit which really limits our ability to add that one more piece.

7 games does not a season make, but right now it is darn hard to see this team getting their sh*t together and making a run in the regular season, let alone the playoffs (if we get there which obviously is a HUGE question mark right now). Could be a LONG season.

^^^^^It’s already a long season and we are only in 3 weeks! You think Toronto Maple Leaf fans are
having a good time? You betcha! Hate to say it, the Rangers need to have losing seasons to get the best
available talent in the draft. Obtaining “has beens” is over for this organization. I agree that
letting Shesterkin go for 3 years to the KHL was one dumb tactic by Gorton.

Only a dope like AV would move JT from center when he's won 64.5% of his face offs and leads the team in scoring. AV continues his downward spiral with this team since taking over Tort's more defensively oriented team to the Cup. As he has made moves to tailor the Rangers more toward his style of play the Rangers have continued to move in the wrong direction. You can't fire the whole team but you can fire the coach especially when you have a proven commodity like Ruff on staff. I thought the team was out of shape when the season started but now they seem to be continually out of position.

I created a post in July stating that Hank had to step it up and rebound from the worst season of his career and at least play as well as he does for Sweden, so far 3.23 GAA/.902 save %. What's funny is some of the posters killing Hank now were the same dopes insisting that Hank was fine and not to worry.

LOL...how does this guy still have a job. It's obvious these clowns don't give a shit anymore about playing for this dude.

This team is hot garbage. It’ll be interesting to see how long we will have to keep seeing AV behind the bench before his ass is finally and rightfully and long overdue fired.

Zero cohesion on either side of the redline. This is looking really grim.

I think it’s looking great. We get rid of a dead weight coach, we can trade some bigger names for either draft picks or young players or both, and we look like we will suck enough to get a high draft pick. lol

2018 draft is very deep! Nice to have a first round pick again.

If it comes to that then so be it, but this roster shouldn't be looking this putrid. They have no leader to spark anyone.

Honestly, I think this is the same showing we got from our players when they quit on Torts. They’ve quit on AV and the few that do still want to try can’t carry the team. They need to get rid of him ASAP before it gets worse.
