Some solid players on this list. Cleanthony Early especially is a favorite of mine, got in trouble with all that strip-club/getting shot incident but he's a player. The player I would compare him to is Trevor Ariza, he has the talent to be even a starting material SF although he would need to get a real chance and playing time to get there
If he been able to swing the weed and basketball then Portland would have perfect. Only problem would have been getting him out of the dispensary.
I heard Shabazz Muhammad looked for a nice contract this past summer, didn't find it and signed for the minimum with the Wolves again. I know he's not the biggest winner in the world, but he's a guy who gets 10ppg in 20mpg, good % from 2 and beyond the arc. His per36 is almost 20ppg if i remember correct. I don't know.... he's a low risk semi-proven player. I would've liked it if Olshey took a swing at him. Derrick Willams is kinda similar and he is not that bad either. I guess Gerald Green is the logical choice right now, but i don't know how good he is to a team's culture. He was pouting and talking to himself on the Celtics bench a bit too much.
Yes, Gerald Green is a good guy but his mental health is questionable, shame because he's a very good talent. Shabazz Muhammad weakness is being absolutely a "black hole" on offense, got rediculously low assist numbers in College IIRC, but he can have good games, remember him having a very strong performance against us a while ago
Trevor Ariza is a key player for a very successful team in Houston and Early can be just as good. His incident outside the strip club is also not as much of a deal breaker as that foul Ariza made against Rudy which IMO excludes him from ever becoming a Blazer
Although I have to say that after so many years I'm able to somewhat forgive Ariza for that foul and not root against him as much. I think he regrets it also and doesn't play as dirty since then
