Yankees fans are definately loyal. But, Boston has an entire region of people that are devoted to the Red Sox. I'm giving the notch to the Red Sox. I'm also a biased die hard Red Sox fans and I would never say NY for this answer. Haha, thought I'd throw that out there.
Guys someone have to put this in the other sports sectionSince I'm a yankee fan I won't even answer the question because I know I'll be bias but even though I hate the Redsox I think they have great fans, both teams have great fans and very loyal.

Sox...being a homer but honestly...look at the people who wear Yankees hats for the most part..I guarantee most of them can't name more than 5 players on the rosterI could name the entire Red Sox starting lineup and the entire rotation/bullpen

I think the RedSox have more die hard fans but I think both die hard fans for the yankees and redsox are real good fans.
Red Sox. I go for the Red Sox in the playoffs, and I absolutely loved it when the Sox beat the Yankees 2-3 years ago, or whenever it was when they were down 3-0. I just can't stand the Yankees, I dont know why. They have the highest pay roll in baseball, and I think they are the MLB equivalent to the military. They need to loosen up and have some fun.
I honestly think most teams that have decent fans have better fans than Yankee fans. They will turn their backs on their players in a heartbeat, and they are pretty bad fans. A fight broke out at half of the Yankees/Rangers games I went to. And as said before, they don't even know most of the players usually.

This is the dumbest thing ever.Obviously, im gonna say yankees just because they are my team, but it's such a dumb topic in general.
Well each fan base has it's fair share of homers, but I'll say Sox because the old fans had to endure 80+ years of failure.
