Yeah I don't have a problem with him but he's also a RFA after this year and won't ever play consistently here as long as Lillard, CJ, and Turner are available.
I would try to facilitate something like Shump to Portland, MyLe, Por 2nd pick and Frye to Phx, Bledose to the Cavs.
Please tell me, who is he supposed to play over? I'm really trying to find out why people want this dude. He sucks IMO.
I had the same thought. Cleveland would need to add something else (osman) to give to Phoenix and I think that'd work.
Let's say hypothetically that Neil wants to get this done. Bledsoe/Chandler for Harkless/Meyers/Vonleh/Napier Dudley for the TPE Dame/Bledsoe CJ/Patty Dudley/Turner Aminu/Davis/Swanigan Nurk/Chandler/Collins That's a pretty damn good 10 man rotation right there.
I'm sure he knows him well, but with Dame and CJ around, not sure the fit is there. Bledsoe has also kicked Dames ass on the court quite a few times, not sure how he'd feel about backing him up.
Well, if he wants to win, this is a great place for him. If he wants to start, I'm sure there are plenty of shitty destinations he could be shipped to. In theory, we could find enough time to keep him happy because he can play both positions. The problem is that we would have a hard time finding minutes for Turner (unless we start Turner at the 3) Dame 34 (leaving 14 minutes) CJ 34 (leaving 14 minutes) That's only 28 minutes for Bledsoe. If you ship out Harkless, you could start Turner and maybe back him up with Dudley (who should be back from his toe surgery soon.)
How about Meyers and a pick to Phoenix, Bledsoe to the Knicks, and Lee to Portland? Knicks throw in something else as well and send it to the suns.
Dame CJ Harkless Aminu Nurkic Bledsoe CJ Turner Swanigan Davis Turner could also play some four against certain stretch fours.
I think the Knicks are in full tank mode. I'd be surprised if they wanted a guy who is almost 28 years old and is constantly injured.
Yeah guys, we need to keep Harkless. It's killing me when y'all include him in your trade scenarios. He's much more aggressive this year.
I think it really boils down to minutes. How many minutes does Bledsoe need to be satisfied? He's currently averaging 28 minutes per game. So if you have him backing up both guard spots, we could easily meet that number. Do we want Chandler in that scenario or just Bledsoe?
