Guys, look for this all season long. Our pretty boys didn't win this game, our rebounders did.

If Nurk warms up his offensive game again, I’d love to see a Nurk/Davis/Swagitron front line vacuum up every rebound.

They played like shit and still won. That's a good thing. Dame and CJ aren't gonna be off like that very often.

Dame played so bad, but we all know he's going to have several games this season where he's the complete opposite and hits a bunch of those tough shots.

Our defense was huge yes Boogie got his but we pretty much shut down everyone else. Nice board work by Davis and Swanigan. Our bench was huge tonight. Dame had a bad game I just hope it out of his system now.

Yeah. He looked pretty good. And he didn't have a run of like 10 consecutive bad decisions to end the game. Which you know, we usually see.

You're going to lose 99 games out of 100 playing like this. The Pelicans really outplayed us tonight, they got a lot of open shots, and the Blazers had to scratch and claw for everything.

Abysmal performance by Damian. And just when you thought he may have finally gotten out of his funk, he misses to clutch FTs and dribbles right into a crowd of Pelicans on a fast break with no apparant idea what he was doing.

Someone might look at the box score and think he just had a bad shooting night, but he wasn't even getting off good attempts, he was just putting up crap. His attempts to drive were embarassing. I have no idea what is up with this guy. Is it the Vegan diet or whatever, but at times he seems intent on playing 1 on 2 or 1 on 3. He just plays right into the defenses hands.

Any quality team would have murdered us tonight.

And Nurk...it's 4 games into the season now, and he is not the same guy he was last year. Ed Davis has out played him by a long shot.

    Tonight's Fun Fact:
    Blazers: 18 OFFENSIVE rebounds
    Pels: 38 DEFENSIVE rebounds

So, we got almost 1/3 of the rebounds at their end of the basket, wow.

Ed Davis had twice as many offensive rebounds (6) as the entire Pels team.
Swanigan had almost as many at 5.

We killed them on the boards. We’re going to do that to a lot of teams this year.

BTW, as someone else suggested, Dame and Nurk need to eat steak every night for a month. Nurk needs to fatten back up, and Dame needs to get off that vegan diet.
