Text alias?

I heard it twice here, about setting the text alias to none. Just wondering what that is, and how you use it.Maybe I'm already using it, not sure.

 

When you make your text there are different aliases that change the choppiness of the text. Right click on the text layer and it should show the aliases.

 

I usually use Smooth or Crisp

 

The only time you should use None is when you're typing with a pixel font.
