<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>You are a Melo fan. That says enough about your credentials as a fan. You like seeing players score a lot. You don't focus on the little things that are needed for teams to win. Sorry someone had to speak out.</div>Lol. Thank's for telling me how I watch the game of basketball. Considering you can read my mind. You know nothing about what I like to watch, so you have no reason to speak on it. I watch basketball looking at both sides of a situation, I'm not biased towards a single player. I always mention the negatives and positives of a players game, unlike yourself.

    - Carmelo is a great scorer, and a very consistent one.- He needs to take better shots, and get his teammates involved more.- His defense is still bad but it has gotten better.- He is stubborn at times, which is expected with young players. This is the same stuff I have been saying since he entered the league. I could be completely biased towards other players like you do. But then nobody would like me, much like yourself.

Mavsfan does have a point but the problem with kobe in that 7 game losing streak was his mentality. You can look into kobe's eyes on tv and see if he is going to play well. He was showing no passion or heart during those losses. Lately he has. Also, his release point on his jumper was off during that losing streak.

He is probably the most talented player as shown by these last 4 games but that is not enough. You got to show consistency mentality and everything. Jordan did and that's why he shot 50%. Also I agree with you Ballahollic on Melo's weaknesses. I just get irritated with Kobe is God or Kobe is Jordan comments that no other players get talked like that. It has been an unbelievable streak for Kobe I'll give that to him.

Not only were Lamar Odom and Walton out for the losing streak, the whole entire team played sh*tty and the streak only stopped because Kobe had had enough. Kobe shoots 45 percent and you say that is bad... :HAHAHA: Have you seen Kobe's shooting percentage the last few games? OVER 50 % while taking alot more shots. Take your head out of your ass.

You can't even admit he is the best in the league. You say "he is probably most talented" lmao. Stop Hating. Kobe>Dirk. Dirk has a way better team around him. Get back to reality.</div>You lost some credibility as well when you were ranking the lakers ahead of some of the other top teams like the Rockets and Jazz. I'm too lazy to look it up but that was extreme homerism. Calling me a homer is plain ridiculous as you've definitely shown plenty of that. I'll put Kobe ahead of Nash because of his 4 game streak but Dirk is still on top imo. Maybe Kobe will outplay Dirk for the rest of the season. We'll see but I'm counting all 67 games in why I'm picking Dirk. Put Kobe on Dallas instead of Dirk and you think the mavs go 57-11? You gotta admit having a big man that can score a lot is really valuable because they also shoot high percentages and rebound a lot. Shaq, Duncan, Garnett, and Dirk have been the most valuable pieces to a championship team though Garnett has been on bad teams. I'm not trying to discredit what Kobe has done these last 4 games. I'm just looking at the overall picture of the season. Kobe>>>Dirk if we are talking about these last 4 games.

The overall picture is that kobe's better than dirk in every facet of his game except Rebounding. Also, dirk's team has been healthy for the most part and a much better balanced team.

I love Kobe Bryant, and I love Dirk Nowitzki, I'm probably the least biased fan on this forum. I don't care what the records are. When I watch Dirk Nowitzki, I feel like I'm watching a hell of a basketball player. When I watch Kobe Bryant, I feel like I'm watching something unreal.

BCB is unbiased and him and I have the advantage of having losing team that will not make the playoffs- this gives us the opportunity of seeing games from other teams and appreciating them. Dirk is great Nash is too - but Kobe does things that no man should be allowed to do.

Out of this whole board you are among the biggest homers. YOU are the one that said Dirk was better than Kobe, remember? [IMG] I don't look at that opinion I had as bad...when healthy and clicking the Lakers are a better team than Utah and the Rockets. BETTER! Yes, the Lakers are a good team believe it or not. Injuries have been a bi*ch to the max and we just got out players back a few games ago and Kobe is carrying us on his back and is now in the MVP discussion. I did not lose any credibility. Alot of people on this board believe the Lakers are to be mentioned as the 4th best team in the league, at least discussed in that way. Look at that specific thread. By the way, it's pretty pathetic when everyone is proving you wrong you start attacking THEIR credibility. (me and Balla)

I watched Michael Jordans final 4 years in a Chicago Bulls uniform, I watched damn near every game. He and Kobe Bryant are the only two players that have made me throw my hands up and go 'oh my f*cking god did that just happen?' Kobe Bryant is the best player in basketball, he's the NBA's MVP this season. I don't care how many games the Mavericks have won, I don't care about Steve Nash's assists. I want the ball in Kobe's hands when shits on the line.

Yeah, okay.

No doubt about it.But, I feel he is too one demensional, and hasn't accomplished enough to be on the level of Jordan. If he won even 1 NBA ring with just a swingman like Jordan had, I'd give him alot more props.

Man you have issues. Last season, he was a first team all defender, he is a very good passer, he is the most versatile scorer in the game, and he is a leader. What else do you want from the guy?
