I have just gotten myself immersed in film, and the only classic actors I am not completely ignorant about are Pacino and De Niro. Anyone who says Denzel Washington needs to immerse themselves in these guys.I know jack about film, but any early picture Pacino and De Niro did puts whatever Washington has done to shame.I swear, when Kate tells Michael in The Godfather Part II that the baby was killed due to abortion, and you see Pacino's face get downright vicious in a shockingly subtle way... *shudders*That makes my hair stand on end.
I've been watching OLD movies lately. I'm always one to look at the people that revolutionize or originate a form as the best.Clark Gable, Cary Grant, even Clint Eastwood. I guess my favorite actor is Sean Connery.
As of the last ten years, the two actors that I have enjoyed the most, and the ones that I think are the best are Leonardo Dicaprio and Denzel Washington. DiCaprio does a good job in every movie that he is in along with Denzel. Denzel is the perfect fit for any good mystery murder film...

Remember Devil in a Blue Dress? I think he was mad that Don Cheadle upstaged him.

This reminds me of that thread where people where like MAN I LOVE BEN STILLER AND WILL FARRELL THEY ARE THE FUNNIEST. If the posters on this site were a little older, they might have a little bit better perspective.

Besides The Good Shepherd, shame.Same goes for Pacino who has basically become a parody of himself imo.

Pacino, wheras he used to convey emotion through subtlety, now just yells and yells.
